Amazing Improvement!

With the start of a new day, it comes to be a new beginning for Hadrian.

As soon as he woke, Hadrian starts to do his new routine. With a slight deviation of course with a new addition to his life.

It was his first beast. Deimos, a Mirage Owl.

Thinking of this, Hadrian ought to test his other talent.

After eating breakfast together with the little owl, they settle in the living room.

A young man and a little brawn owl look at each other solemnly.

"Let's do it," Hadrian said to Deimos as he took a deep breath.

"Hoot!~" The owl chirped as it waited for what its master was about to do.

Hadrian raised his hand and mysterious symbols appeared on it as it approach the forehead of the mirage owl.

As soon as the glowing hands of Hadrian touch the owl, it seems to be pushed into it by a mysterious force.

And immediately, the Mirage Owl was in a daze. Because it watches a lot of knowledge imprinted on its mind! And it feels like he can do those things too!

The Mirage Owl was also familiar with what he was seeing! It was an innate skill of its kin!

It has long been its yearning to learn this skill because it felt that although its kin respected it, it still felt that a missing part was missing from it to be considered a true Mirage Owl. It's been its heartache.

Now with this knowledge and changes in its mind, it feels that it can know to perform this skill! Moonlight Sheen!

It also knows that its change is related to its master! The Mirage Owl looks at Hadrian with an admiring gaze.

Sensing the fluctuations and changes that happened on the Mirage Owl, Hadrian looks at it expectantly.

"Quickly, Deimos perform it!" Hadrian spoke excitedly as it reach out a piece of moonlight leaves on the side of the table.

It's daytime right now so the full effect of Moonlight Sheen can't be observed clearly. But what Hadrian wants to see right now is if the Mirage Owl learns the advanced skill, Moonlight Sheen, so just using a light resource might do for now.

Listening to Hadrian, the owl immediately does what he says.

As if on instinct, the owl opened its wingspan as it chirp. A tread of light flashes out of the moonlight leaves and seems to be connected to the owl's body. It continues for a few seconds before the light dims and the leaves dried out.

The mirage owl felt its body being strengthened. Although it's a little bit, with the increase in proficiency, the effect will be made stronger.

A skill has different levels of proficiency. Beginner, Competent, Proficient, Expert, Extreme, and Mastery.

It takes a lot of time and practice for a beast to increase skill proficiency. And sometimes it even varies on what type of skill and class they have.

There are different classes of skills. Basic, Intermediate, Advance, Superb, and Ultimate.

It can be said that skill proficiency is also a factor for some beasts to break through their limits and advance their ranks.

On the side, Hadrian was over the moon. Now his Mirage Owl finally learned one of its racial skills, Moonlight Sheen.

It's not even counting some skills that he copied and plans to teach to Deimos. Which is the Moon Enlightenment, Feather Dance, and Light Shield.

Hadrian also discovered that as long as he teaches the same skill again and again, the skill proficiency will increase.

Not only that but when he teaches the intermediate skill, Moonlight Sheen, he felt his energy and vitality drained while at least one-fourth of his mana is depleted.

Perhaps, if it is a Basic skill, the consumption is less, and if the skills are Advance, Superb, and Ultimate the consumption would be greater.

Among other things, the Skills Archive has a limit to copy skills which is 20. And Hadrian has copied at least 11 skills. All of which could be taught to Deimos.

• Description: Skill that allows the user to incarnate their body into a living being, allowing the incarnated body to use the incarnated host's power and bring out even greater power.]

[★ Moon Enlightenment (Advance Skill)

• Attributes: Spirit, Light

• Description: Skill that allows the user to borrow the moonlight to purify negative effects on the body, mind, spirit, and even bloodline. The stronger the moonlight power gathered, the stronger the purification.]

[★ Light Shield (Intermediate)

• Attributes: Light

• Description: The user can condense a prism of light on their body to protect themselves from any negative effects.]

[★ Feather Dance (Intermediate Skill)

• Attributes: Spirit, Light

• Description: A skill specifically of avian magical beasts. The user reflects light on their feathers, allowing them to produce illusory feathers with varying effects such as optical illusion, disrupting senses, and spiritual explosion.]

[★ Flickering (Intermediate)

• Attributes: Light

• Description: It allows the host to borrow the light power to stimulate one's speed comparable to that of the speed of light as if teleporting.]

[★ Fleeting Phantoms (Intermediate)]

• Attributes: Spirit, Light

• Description: Produce life-like illusions on the surface land by borrowing the power of light. The greater the light borrowed, the greater the realness of the illusion.]

[★ Piercing Feather (Intermediate)

• Attributes: Spirit

• Description: A specific skill of avian magical beasts that allows the user to control one's feather on its will as a weapon.]

[★ Moonlight Sheen (Intermediate)

• Attributes: Light

• Description: A skill to borrow moonlight power to bathe on it to improve the physical dimension of one's body. It can also remove negative effects on the body and remove injuries.]

[★ Telepathy (Basic Skill)

• Attributes: Spirit

• Description: The user can transmit his thoughts to any other mind through the power of spirit. Training to the extreme can also allow the user to read the surface thoughts and emotions of beings surrounding it.]

Since it was Saturday, Hadrian decided to go on a spree on skill teaching. By the end of the day, he managed to teach another three intermediate skills on Deimos.

Which are the Feather Dance, Light Shield and recharge type skill, Resurgence.

When Hadrian teach those skills, he felt the same amount drained from him when he teach the skill Moonlight Sheen. Around one-fourth of his mana and vitality was drained every time he teach. Perhaps it was because all of those skills are intermediate that's why they have the same consumption amount on Hadrian when teaching it.

It's a good thing he didn't teach the skill Moon Enlightenment, Incarnation and Rapid Recovery. Because these skills are Advance type and the consumption of course would be greater.

Perhaps, when Deimos reach Knight Rank and he broke through second realm, only then he would teach these skills.

Thinking of this, Hadrian decided to buy some supplements and pills that can rejuvenate physical strength and restore magical energy.

But then, he looked at his body and felt his drained state so he decided against it.

Instead he pick up his phone and decided to just buy it online. Anyway, with the development of beast tamer, transportation and economy is ten times efficient than Earth.

When delivering packages, people nowadays used beast as a means of transportation.

But just thinking about what he want to buy, Hadrian felt his hear bleed again. Because those kind of medicines cost a lot. Just a one sheet of pills which has 12 exact amount of pills is already ranging at 20,000.

Still, for improving his strength quickly, Hadrian bears it. And there's no turning back anyway. After all, being a beast tamer really costs a lot.

Now he just needed to wait for the medicines that he bought. With that said, Hadrian tell Deimos first to familiarize with his new skills before he play with his phone as he rested.

A few hours has passed and Hadrian already got enough rest. The owl also has familiarize with some of it's skills. And they've already ate their lunch.

When a knock came from the door. Hearing this, Hadrian got up and saunter towards the door to open it.

What awaited him is a man at least few years older than Hadrian. Wearing a neat gray uniform and holding a package.

Beside the man was a beast that has white body with blue tails. It has vigorous body and four strong hooves. It's a Wind Runner Horse. An exotic beast that cannot evolve but through use of wind type resources can become a rare beast and reach another limit.

It was favored among mount type beasts and popular among people like the man in front of him who chose to work in express deliveries. Not only that, but some companies like to use it as a courier and transportation.

It's not only because it's of wind attribute but also because of it's exceptional speed and has great physical strength coupled with all-round skills.

Not wasting anymore time, Hadrian reach out for the package and hand out the payment.

The young man was also straightforward and business-minded. He received the money with a satisfied smiled.

"Thank you for the order! Please gave us a five-star rating!" The young man spoke cheerily before he left with the Wind Runner Horse.

After the young man left, Hadrian goes back inside and immediately take the medicine.

He felt the medicine took effect immediately. The vitality seems to be recovering efficiently at his body.

Feeling this, Hadrian calls out to Deimos and plan to teach skills again.

Just a few taught skills just before and Deimos had already reached Novice Rank Tier IV. Perhaps, after teaching a few more skills, then Deimos would have made a break through again.

Hadrian already has a juncture in his mind. Possibly, this would have raised Deimos rank again.

Thinking of it again, Hadrian reach his hands to Deimos and prepare to teach Deimos another skills.

It was the basic skill of Telepathy.

Among the skills of Deimos, it was the only skill that reached the level of Competent. And it was on the threshold of Proficient level.

So Hadrian wants to teach Telepathy to increase Deimos rank.

And as soon as he teaches it to Deimos, a glow surrounded the mirage owl. It was a sign of another breakthrough!

Novice Rank Tier V!

Such an amazing improvement in less than three days! If this is spread outside, no one would believe it.

After all, in normal occurrences, it takes at least months to reach the peak of Novice Rank among Beginner beast-tamers. If you're a genius, perhaps less than a month.

But no one achieved a breakthrough to peak of Novice Rank just in few days!

Hadrian understood the reason.

Aside from his space-time power that accelerates the growth of his mana oasis and also affect his beast-taming subspace that speeds up the growth and enrichment of tamed beasts.

It is also because of teaching skills. One of the ways to increase ranks is to focus on particular skill and reach a favorable threshold on proficiency. But it takes a lot of time and also has a lot of conditions.

For example, what if the beast only has intermediate skill as its highest skill? One had to know that the higher the type of skill, the higher its mastery level.

So if you only have basic skill and you plan to reach another rank just base on this, it isn't enough.

You must also have another learned skills or taught skills. Just like what Hadrian did to Deimos. He taught the mirage owl another skill.

When a beast has learnt another skill, the amount of mana they have will increase. Just like to beast tamers when they encounter another use of their innate talent, their mana will increase.

Thinking of this, Hadrian decided to calm down. And do not plan to teach another skill to Deimos again.

He was afraid that the owl would break through again which is not stable especially at the growth stage. He just wants to lay foundation first for Deimos. Not to mention, he hasn't break through to second realm of mana oasis yet.

Thinking of this again, Hadrian arranged plans for tomorrow. He would take Deimos for his first fight as a pet beast!
