Terrion went silent when he heard her reply, as the man had honestly expected a number, or at least something other than 'I don't know.'

"You know the 'General Calendar System'? The one we currently use?"

They were there when it was created."

Terrion did the math quickly in his head. Ten thousand years for each calendar, and currently, they were in the 51st.

That equalled over 500,000 years.

That was over 5 times his lifespan.

"…mind if I ask but exactly how much of that time have you been around?"

He indirectly asked Seren what her age was but the woman only stared at him in silence until he rescinded the question by himself.

"I'm just curious you know?

So many things have happened…everything feels so…quick?

Enough that even thousands of years are not enough for me to completely adapt to everything."
