Life and Death laws were on the opposing ends of the polarity spectrum.

Yet, it was possible for some select few talented manipulators to change the polarity of their life law energies to the negative side of the spectrum.

It was quite the feat as even some Race Kings who used the law of life could not do this.

Transforming Positive to Negative and Negative to Positive wasn't something done so easily, after all.

But of course, Irregulars like Jamie could do such a thing like it wasn't even a big deal. Like he was currently doing in the process of infusing the corpse with energy.

Jamie could use Life law energy with both polarities, not because he was bored and decided to learn how to do so, but out of necessity.

As stated earlier, 'Balance' was something very important for Jamie.

He did not have the title; 'Envoy of Balance' for fancy.
