Chapter 2: The Divine Successor

After Adrian showing up to the castle, he finds himself incapable to enter it because of the watchmen halting him. The tall and buff guard, called "Garp" and nicknamed "The Muscle of the Kingdom". He is known for safeguarding the whole dominion from dangers like mythical serpents, monsters, and so on.. The gatekeepers come dependent upon him and pushed him to the ground. They began giggling at Adrian and ridiculing him. Individuals swarmed up on them, and insulted on him about the fact he tought he'd be able to enter the castle, it is difficult to do that with the sentries there. Adrian continued to attempt to enter, yet they beat him up to the floor. In any case, as Garp took a gander at him, he saw the scar in his neck. He attempted to touch it, however as he did, it glowed dark. Adrian's body turned out to be half black and an obscure aura emitting out from him, with his face ressembling that of a beast's, his eyes and mouth white. His hand turned into a long pitch-black tendril that he would use to grab Garp and slam him to the ground, and afterward, he would transform his left hand into a sharp blade not long prior to running forward to arrive at the guardian and slicing his chest. This caused blood all around the floor, and the passing of the cut watchman. Garp then stood up and ran towards Adrian, attempting to hold and stifle him. Yet, our hero transformed into a dark substance that continued on the floor like a fluid, with lightning-fast speed. The fluid went behind Garp, and afterward changed back to Adrian, who bounces on Garp and cuts him with the hand that he turned clawed. The gatekeeper halted briefly, and tumbled to the ground, without any indication of attempting to remain back up. Our legend's new dark appearance then, at that point, vanished and he didn't have the foggiest idea about what occurred. He said maybe he went oblivious and restored cognizance quite recently. He didn't have the foggiest idea why the gatekeepers, with blood on them, are laying on the floor. They looked dead. That's what he disregarded and attempted to enter the entry now that the guards aren't coming. As he entered the palace, the principal thing he saw were the immense pictures of individuals with crowns that were on the wall. They looked old, with dust on them and the picture frames were made with a dull earthy gold, which he assumed was old gold. He strolled up certain steps, just to catch a young lady that wore a cloak with two polestars made of gold, not old at this point. She had multi-hued eyes, and blond hair. She asked him what his name was, the reason is he there, and a few different questions, only for him to respond to them. He asked her who she was, and said that she was Sigma, a young lady that works for the King, Enoch. The word "king" confounded him. Which king? What ruler? The Sovereign of the Kingdom. He had to meet this 'king', however Sigma declined. She feels that Adrian could attempt to hurt the one she works for. He said that he implies no harm to anything of the spot or individuals in it, and she trusted him. She let him know where Enoch's throne is, and as she was going to go down the steps, he got her hand. She turned to him as he asked her about the pictures that were downstairs, and she said that they were of the past monarches of the kingdom. He went on higher up and went to the emperor's privileged position, wherein he saw him with the crown on his head. He drew nearer, bowed and welcomed him. The Lord didn't greet him back, and asked what his name was. Adrian introduced himself and inquired as to whether he is familiar with the book he had. As he gave it to him, Enoch looked stunned, as though he knew something. He advised the royal guards to proceed to leave them be, thus they left the privileged position. The Ruler asked Adrian how he got the book. He let him know that he saw a light transmitting from it in the library and got it. Enoch realized that whoever sees a light transmitting from it, it's calling them, presently understanding that Adrian may be the book's particularly chosen one - or even the Divine's - which made him blow a gasket. He gave Adrian the book back, and advised him to leave. Adrian was astounded and left, hammering the door rudely. The gate was hufe, yet Adrian, looking frail, pummeled it that hard?! Enoch blacked out. Sigma passed by our protagonist while going up the steps, and he was angry. She felt a genuinely bad feeling about him, as though her senses got 'hate' framing in his spirit. She disregarded him and went to the King, just to think that he is dropped. He woke up, working out of shock. She asked what occurred, and he told her about Adrian. She was shocked and went hurrying to him. Enoch told her to not tell him, but rather she did. Adrian didn't have any idea what that meant. She asked him for the book, and made him read a page discussing The Divine's Chosen One, who is a living being that divine beings - or gods - settle on having them as their successor.

What does Adrian do since it is now so obvious of his heavenly role? Stay tuned for Chapter 3!
