chapter 1. he is not yet ready

it is day break already, zhan is still on bed getting disturbed with all the car horn and indistinct chatting from the people passing by his room window then suddenly the alarm sounded .....

zhan opened his red eyes so widely with anger written all over his face and groaned so loudly to the extreme of him throwing away the alarm to the well designed red rug, he even became more frustrated when the alarm didn't break on the rug so he stood up from his bed feeling so annoyed and took a big fat reddish rod and hit it on the alarm clock ....

"there! he said to his satisfaction feeling a little bit of relief from his anger stress....and looked at his window gripped his hand tightly on the big fat reddish rod..

"hit it zhan, his mind controlled him to do so, and his eyeballs turned red.

zhan went closer to the well modernized large glass window, he stood directly to the sun rays and raised up the rod and was about to smash the window with anger when his mother came Into his room without knocking with Pile of clothes obstructing her view ...

zhan looked back and dropped the rod....

"zhan, help me with this clothes, they are heavy, zhan you wear too much of clothes these days.... his mother said.

. "mom why are you still always washing my clothes am a grown up now. zhan said lifting the basket away from her hands.

"grown up? if you know that you are a grown up then why still engaging fight at school, answer me zhan. his mother said folding her two arms together.

"mom that is part of grown up things, you fight to defend yourself from hooligans at my school. zhan said uncomfortably.

"yeah hooligans like you am I right?first of all how old are you that you called yourself a grown up. his mother said and arch an eyebrow...

"mom you know my age, 17 and....

"can I have my basket now?zhan mother asked stretching her hand out towards him for her laundry basket ...

zhan had felt an heat burning his chest with the words being said to him by his mother...

"so mom, what do you and dad think about me?he asked.

zhan mother's went close to him and touched his cheek down to his jaw .

"my honey, we do think and feel that you should grow up and become responsible and not being harsh at everything like fighting those that just offend you a little,even when they apologize, it seems that the apology is not enough and you get them engaged In a fight which is very wrong...

zhan is already feeling unease and finding his mother's words boring.

"don't show me that face zhan!listen to me, and this exam you must really prepare for it because I don't want to loose hope of you not getting graduated again, because it seems like you are already getting bored with school stuff, zhan please am begging you stay focus at all time...

zhan could see the tears almost coming down her beautiful smooth cheeks..

zhan felt touched by those words especially seeing his mother almost crying for advising him..

then zhan took his thumb to wipe the small drop of tears on her face.

"have heard you mom..zhan said trying to smile..

"do you promise mummy that? zhan mother asked focusing her gaze on zhan eyes not until she got distracted with the alarm that zhan smashed on the floor..

zhan noticed that she has shifted her gaze away from him and decides to check what it is and found out that she was staring at the smashed alarm clock..

"care to explain that?

"it was a rat! zhan said shifting his gaze from his mother to look at the floor...

zhan mother sighed heavily and took her basket that is plsced on zhan's bed and closed the door behind her...

just then zhan went closer to the alarm clock and took the pieces, later then he opened his window he wanted to angrily smash before, and threw out the pieces of the alarm making the pieces scatter In the air, locking his window back and planning to go to the bathroom...when the alarm pieces hit an old woman's head causing the elderly woman great pain on her head...

all zhan could hear is the angry yelling of people but him not showing a full concern on what the matter is about by him going back to the window side to check ...

his thoughts were, maybe it a traffic causing those people to make noises not knowing he nearly killed an elderly woman with the alarm smashed pieces then he undressed and entered the bathroom...he still has forty-five minutes left to prepare for school since exam is going to start in the next two weeks he must go study hard just like he has promised his mother that is if he could keep to his promise again.....

he sighed and entered the bathroom completely undressed...

"how sure are you that he will heed to the advice you gave to him earlier. zhan's father said drinking the coffee that is placed on the dining table by zhan's mother

" hoping I guess, because zhan is so unpredictable, he is always full of surprises you know?she said has she put a boiled egg in her mouth...."do you still remember the time he saved a girl...zhan mother paused trying to remember the girl's name...

"Ria?...zhan father said trying to remind her...

"you are right! he maybe stubborn but he is also somewhat a good kid too.. at least his fighting habit helped for once. zhan father said dropping the empty mug on the table .

"sacrifice? do you think zhan is ready for anything like that? does he even know that he is a werewolf...? we are not going to perform any sacrifice until he is ready that is why he has that pendant on him to keep him from transforming every night of the full moon..yet you are saying the word sacrifice...zhan father said cleaning his mouth with an handkerchief..

" am sorry, I actually thought that since he might have some good potential in him by saving a girl then maybe we should start already since he must not pass 19 years of age before the sacrifice ceremony starts..

" I get you but zhan is not yet ready to be a fully werewolf and what gave you the assurance that when he discovers that he is a werewolf, he is not going to freak out. and him being a fully werewolf he is going to have a lot of mission

and tasks on his way,but for now this boy is not yet ready...zhan father said and stood up from the well furnished square dinning table .
