5 CHAPTER 4
Twelve past ten as I heard the bell ring.I was expecting Evie as we scheduled yesterday.I flipped into my slippers as I ran downstairs to see who was at the door.To my biggest surprise,I saw Leo,Evie and a couple of friends I met at the amusement park.
It was actually a surprise visit.But thank goodness;there was always food,soft drinks and snacks at home.There was nothing to worry about at all.
I ushered them into my house with a warm smile."Make yourselves comfortable and feel at home",I said to them.They all nodded and seemed super excited about the idea.
I gave them a welcome drink which was a champagne.They actually enjoyed it with much pleasure."Hey pretty",he addressed me.I chuckled as he approached me."Hey,handsome",I replied with traces of smiles at the corners of my lips.
Leo kept stealing glances at me which made me blush profusely.He offered me a glass of chilled pineapple juice and I took it with much enthusiasm.I took a sip of the juice,raised my head,only to realize that,Leo was still staring at me.
He was a light-skinned guy,his hair was black which suited his complexion perfectly.He was very handsome which caught my attention.His breathtaking smile he wore each time,convinced that,he was an amazing guy.
"Hey guys,what's going on?",Evie asked as she stole glances at Leo and I.She stared at me with the "I know what's going on look",which made me smile shyly.
"Oh nothing much,I was just admiring Chloe",Leo replied."Sorry for the interruption",Evie said.She gave me a wink and left to join the others.We chatted a little time for my friends to leave for their respective homes.
Leo hugged me and said goodbye.Evie gave me a peck on the cheek and waved at me.I pleaded with my driver to send them to their respective homes.
After saying goodbye to them,I walked slowly,ascended the staircase and headed straight to the bathroom.I took a hot shower and returned back to my room refreshed.
As I laid in bed,thoughts of Leo popped up.Honestly,I couldn't stop thinking about him.As I was lost in my thoughts,I felt my phone vibrating continuously under my pillow.I had faith that it was Leo,so I quickly picked up.
"Hello gorgeous",he voiced out.I cleared my throat since I nearly got choked and replied with a soft voice.
"Hey dear",we had a good time today,didn't we?",he asked."Yes we did,I really enjoyed your company though",I said to him."Always here for you dear",he said.On hearing this,I made a sigh of relief and relaxed while talking to him.
As we were conversing,he sounded cool and calm like never before.The way he spoke made me feel like a pretty little gold fish who had been swimming in a sea of sharks.He hanged up eventually.
Sleep gradually took over my senses and I fell asleep with my huge blanket wrapped around me.
