Mohit's POV

I told them how I took Srusti to my home. And how I proposed to her and she accepted.

" Wow !! I am happy that you did ask her and we got such a good girl as our daughter-in-law. She must be caring a lot for you to wait till 4 AM to serve you food and ask about your family. " Daadi said.

" Aree daadi, Mohit was telling me that she already scolds him for not eating proper meals or not taking proper rest. " Maya said laughing. I glared at her. But it has never bothered her to date.

" I am so happy that she cares for you so much. You need exactly this kind of girl only. Now go and get her stuff from your penthouse. "

" Why?? "

" She would be staying with us now... " Daadi said.

" What !! Why?? "

" Why ?? Because I am saying so, till you both get married, she will stay with us. You can't live in the same house just before your wedding. In fact, you should not even see her. I won't be that strict. But she would stay with you only after your wedding. " Dadi said.

" Hey girlfriend, are you jealous of her?? I love you more, I swear... "

" Say whatever you want, my decision is final. "

" But it is not fair... "

" That's the way it has to be... Srusti beta, I hope you don't have a problem living with us?? " Mom asked her and she looked at me. I signalled her to deny it but she smiled and shook her head.

" What ?? That is wrong... What would I do?? I would die without... "

" Do your work... what were you doing 3-4 days back?? Desperate much?? Can't live without her for a few days?? " Maya said grinning at me and Srusti's face turned almost red.

She was a different kind of girl. There was something about her, which made her different. Maybe because she was very innocent and shy. She was like a breath of fresh air.

" What ?? No !! I... mean, she cooks awesome food... I would die... Without food. " I said looking at her.

" Oh !! So you were talking about food... You can come and have food with us. " Daadi said winking at me.

" But... "

" No, but... Now go and get her stuff. And Maya, just go with her and get the best wedding lehenga and dresses from his collection. You have to do all the shopping with her. Rama, you call our jewellers and tell him to get his best designs. I want everything to be the best for our daughter-in-law. " Daadi said.

" I will get the dresses for her... You both can get other things. " I said.

" Let her select her lehenga and other dresses. "

" I have everything online, see the pictures, select all those you want, I will get it in her size. " I said and Maya nodded.

" Ok done, show me the pics. Now go and get her stuff. I will send you the pictures of dresses for all occasions, send all of them at home. Srusti, we will go for accessories... bags, shoes, makeup etc. " Maya said to her and she looked at me. She looked a bit uncomfortable.

" What happened beta?? " Mom asked.

" I don't need so many things. It is just a simple wedding. "

" Wedding is weddings, beta. They happen only once. Even if we are keeping it very simple, still it is your wedding. You both would be united with each other for the rest of your life. In fact, as per our beliefs, you would be united with each other for your next 7 lives. So it is a very important day. " Daadi said.

Srusti looked at me and gulped visibly. She looked as if she was thinking about our plan again. She was not convinced earlier.

" Ok... Girlfriend as you say. Keep her with you. But don't forget that you had a heart attack yesterday. So you better rest now. Mom you too... Srusti come and help me to pack your bags. Mom as both of you are in hospital till now... we will be back tomorrow with her bags if you get discharged from here. Take proper rest. We would get married only when you both are absolutely fine. " I said.

" Ok, I would be home by tomorrow, I want her there with us tomorrow. As we have to start shopping. And Maya and Srusti will select the dresses, you get them for her. Mind it, only the best wedding dress for my would-be daughter. " Mom said, I nodded.

" Ok mom, now both of you please rest. I will drop her there at home, dad would be back by then. " I said and I kissed all the three women in my family and Srusti touched the feet of my mom and daadi and got blessed and hugged by all of them.

We came out of the hospital and I went to drop her home.

" Thanks a lot, my family seems to be so happy.

" I am going to my work studio. I will send the pictures to Maya and you. Give me your number. "

" I don't have... "

" What?? "

" I forgot my phone at my sister's house. "

" Oh ok, I will get a phone for you today. Do you want anything else?? "

" I don't need so many things... Phone dresses, accessories... It is very awkward. "

" No... It is not, you need a phone it is a necessity, everyone would need your phone number including me. What kind of a boyfriend or fiance am I, if I don't even have your number? You definitely need dresses, shoes, bags watches, jewellery etc. Please don't feel awkward it is a part of the deal. "

" Deal?? "

" This whole marriage thing. It's a deal. Right?? "

" Yeah... right. " She said in low voice.

" Good. "

" Mohit Ji, I am feeling... guilty. "

" Why?? "

" Your family is so sweet, loving and warm. They accepted me in less than a minute. I feel that I am deceiving them. "

" You are not... You are just helping me. You saw them today, if you had seen them yesterday, you would have said that this was necessary. "

" I am helping you, but I am a part of this... Deal. "

" Please, don't tell me that you are thinking of backing out. You can't do that. "

" I am not doing any such thing. I would never back out of it, at least till you think to get over with this... Deal."

" Good... You don't know how relieved I am to hear that. Thanks a lot, for making things easy for me. " I said and hugged her. She still looked thoughtful.

What was going on in her mind?? I hope she would stick to her words and will not create a nuisance for me.

" I am going, please let me know if you need anything apart from a phone and a handbag. "

" I have just this one pair of footwear and those Snickers. "

" Ok, I will arrange for them. Tell me the size of your feet. " I said and she told me. I was going out when she asked me to have lunch as it was almost 2 PM.

" But it will take time to prepare food, let's order it. "

" No... I already prepared it before going. I just have to make chapati. "

I nodded and sat down at the dining table while she served the food.

We both had food.

" You cook so well. Thanks a lot. I loved it. " I said and she smiled faintly.

" Please don't think so much. You have made them really happy. "

" Yeah, that makes me more guilty."

" Please... Don't say that. It was necessary. See, they almost recovered so soon. "

" Hmmm... it's ok... I won't tell them. "

" Thanks," I said and she got to her work.

I went to my studio. Asked Harry to arrange the latest phone, sim card and get bags and shoes for Srusti.

Once I was alone, I thought of what was happening in my life. I was missing Robin, so I called him but it went on voice mail. I just said that missed him.

I had to talk to him, he needed to know what was I doing. Now there would be no problem in our relationship. My family would be happy that I got married and they would leave me alone.

He would be very happy that I solved my issues. I was looking forward to a bright future with Robin.
