1 Masevel

In a certain cell in the imperial academy, a petite, long black-haired girl was sleeping.

Light-skinned with pointy ears but not as big as an elf, you could see a small tail coming from a bit above her butt area.

Her hands were handcuffed, but they weren't connected anywhere; they had some engravings, and on her neck, she also had neck cuffs.

Her face was showing a feeling of discomfort.

She saw the house she was serving in flames; the sky was full of cracks, and light was coming from those cracks.

Explosion sounds were also coming from a distance. *boom* *boom*.

She could also see someone wearing silver armor fighting some enormous dragon-like creature.

The creature was so big that the armored person was as small as an ant while close to it.

The person in armor had wings on its back. Each movement the person made was accompanied by great magical power.

But the creature didn't react at all.

The creature was enormous; its head had two huge horns, and the horns were almost fully black except for its tip, which was purple.

The eye of the creature was radiating a purple light.

It had two pairs of wings, one looking like bat wings or more like a dragon's.

The other pair were like the wings of the armored person but way bigger, and the wings' movements made the wind as strong as wind magic.

But the creature wasn't using magic; it was sheer physical strength.

If people saw the fight, they would think the armored person had an agility advantage.

But the creature wasn't bothered by the armored person's attempt to attack back.

To the creature, it wasn't even a fight; it was more like a fly trying to bother it.

The creature kept looking at the armored person until it moved its tail. The tail was large and fast—so fast that the armored person couldn't react.

Like an insect, when slapped mid-air, the armored person was sent flying and hid a clock tower; the tower was destroyed.

The person passed through the tower and fell into the middle of the city.

The creature started to move, and with each step, a heavy thumping noise was heard, followed by earth tremors.

The armored person got up and, with clear signs of exhaustion, held its silver spear like it was preparing to throw it at the creature.

The spear started to glow or look like it; it was getting energy from its surroundings.

The armored person opened their mouth and said, [Limit Break Max. [Dragon Slayer MAX] [Strength Lv 8] [Special Charge 9] [Demon Slayer MAX] [God Slayer 3] [Stats Boost 2] [Magic Boost 6] [One Shot MAX] [Sacrifice MAX]

And then he trowed its spear at a huge speed, hitting the creature in the chest. The creature, after being hit, fell.

The armored person smiled a little, but then he started hearing a sound, like something was boiling.

Then, a large tentacle was seen coming from the creature's body; it was the most grotesque thing the armored had ever seen, and then slowly, the tentacles got together and turned into the form of the creature.

Seeing that all its effort was in vain, tears came from the armored person's eyes.

"So it was useless, huh? If I had another chance,

and then a big screen showing {GAME OVER} was shown, and then the little girl sleeping woke up.

Opening her yellow eyes, she looked around, seeing an unfamiliar room.

"Huh...?"

"Where am I?"

The room looked like a prison cell.

"This room...? A cell?"

The room was small, and she could see iron bars on a small window where sunlight was coming from.

On the other side, she saw more iron bars coming from the floor to the top.

"HEY? Is somebody there?"

Then steps were heard.

After some seconds, a maid appeared, with dark green hair and blue eyes. You could see she was a very high-ranking maid in this place; she looked at Masevel with her cold and blue eyes, looking a bit annoyed.

But ignoring that, the girl said, "Hi... Did I do something to be locked here?"

Now that she looked close, she saw that the maid was a lot taller than her—around two times taller, with pointy ears and huge breasts that were bigger than Masevel's head.

The maid clicked its mouth with a "Tsk" sound and said.

"Feigning ignorance? Two days ago, you left the house without my permission and returned later at night."

Then suddenly, memories of her life came to her. She's Masevel, a slave with no surname. She was bought into this house when she was still a baby, and the owners of this house are the family "Vallensi," a family that descended from an ancient vampire lord.

The maid named Naomi in front of her is the head maid of this house; she's a pure-blooded demon from a lower-class noble; she has taught all young masters since childhood, herself included.

The family has special powers as noble demi-humans. Two days ago, she was called to go to the city with the family's young master, someone whom she had known since childhood.

"But I was with Young Master Leo."

The green-haired maid looked at her with cold eyes and then said, "It's because of the young master's order that you are getting out of here with only a day of reclusion.".

The girl nodded, and the green-haired maid opened the door and said, "You can go; get some water to bathe yourself; the madam is calling for you.".

...

After taking the water from the well, she suddenly stopped and thought, "Masevel? From where do I remember it?" After a couple of seconds, she opened her eyes with surprise. "Isn't she a side character from the H-game I played before? This isn't the same earth, I know... Is it a dream?"

It wasn't looking like a dream; everything was so real. She got the bucket, got all of its contents, and threw all the cold water into her body.

She felt the cold water, but it wasn't enough for her to feel sick. "Is it because I'm not a human?" Then she started inspecting her body. It wasn't that the maid was tall; well, she was taller than the average person, but she was just smaller.

"Wasn't Masevel the tomboy and unconquered bug character from the game?"

The Masevel in her memories was a muscular woman; she was the strongest character in the game, and you could use her in the second chapter until chapter 7 when her masters call her to protect them from the invasion.

She was over 210cm (6.89 ft); she didn't use weapons, only bare hands. She was called a bug character because the game has a [love system] where the more you use certain characters, the more your [love] with the character grows.

But when you use Masevel, the [love] with her doesn't grow, and the characters you use together with her also stop growing, and the characters who [love] didn't grow also get out of the party on the 7th chapter, which made people complain to the developers, who answered, "It's not a bug.".

So the only way to not lose your teammates was not to use Masevel at your party or just use her with the main character, but your other characters wouldn't level up or even unlock events with them.

This made people on the game forum theorize how it works. They started doing a secret quest that involved beating the final boss with the main character only, making all playable characters be at the party with her, and then her [Slave] would be revoked on new game plus stats, which was triggering her removal from the party with information that was found out by data miners.

Together with all other characters's stats, like level, only Masevel's [Slave] stats were found.

People even tried to remove her [slave] stats with hacks, but it always crashed the game as if her [slave] stats were very important to the game.

"No way. I don't have the big boobs Maseval had in the game, nor her big muscles... Do I have to train to get them? I don't like training!" T_T

Then she thought of something and said, "Wait! The Madam! I need to go to her, or else I will be punished.".

She started running to the madam's room.
