4 CHAPTER 3: ISN’T OUR CHARMER VERY POPULAR?

Walking out of the student council building, followed by several groups of well-dressed boys and girls, were five distinctive individuals. Among those five was someone that anyone from Grandview could spot and name without difficulty, Darica.

"Hey, Dari, you love drama, don't you?" Yuka, the youngest of the five, asked teasingly as she skipped cutely while the gang walked towards the parking lot.

Darica turned with a smile as she looked at the young girl whom she never thought she would get along with, especially with how irritating the other was when they first met.

"I live for it. Don't you know it?" Darica teased the little girl, making her stop to look at her with a pout on her face.

"Stop teasing her. You know that if you do, she will always end up giving inappropriate information to the fans later," Mirabel the third girl in the F5 gang, said smilingly, looking at the two that were like Tom and Jerry all the time.

Hearing this, the only two boys in the gang both looked at each other and shook their heads.

Interfering in the girls' quarrel will always end up badly. They have experienced it before and weren't willing to suffer for the same issue again.

"This is why I love her. I love seeing her riling the fans up. Don't they look cute whenever they start battling online?" Darica smirked as she thought of how funny her fans were.

Listening to this, Tristan looked at Darica and pumped up his fist, saying, "Big bro, you are savage!" his voice filled with excitement.

Flipping the ends of her dreadlocks that were loose, Darica flashed a smile at Tristan and shamelessly agreed, "It's a talent. Something that most of you can't learn."

Joking with each other and playing happily, the F5 successfully made their way to the parking lot where the car was.

Stopping at the side of the car bearing the school logo, Owen, the last member of F5, couldn't help but chuckle with disbelief.

The other four immediately turned to him, wanting to know why he was chuckling when nothing funny had been said.

"Why are you chuckling?" Yuka being the curious and gossipy one, asked as soon as this happened.

Yuka wasn't the kind of person who would patiently wait for the other to say something on his or her own. Whenever she was curious, she would ask. That's how she was.

Owen looked at the people that had been with him for years. Although their meeting was not what one would expect, he was still glad that they met in the end.

"I just thought of how we won't be seeing this car next year," he said in nostalgia as he looked at the car that Darica had scammed from the school when they wanted to appoint her as the student council president more than two years ago.

Talking about this, Darica couldn't help but look at the car with mixed emotions.

"At least it will be swapped for something better than this. We deserve it and the school should pay," in a cold tone, Darica responded as she thought of the many favors she did for the school ever since she took that damn position of being the council's president.

Sensing that Darica's emotions were getting stirred, Mirabel, being the sensible one, playfully said, "Let go. We don't want to be late and lose a chance to earn some money, would we?" dissipating the tension that was filling up the air.

Hearing about money, Darica who was reminiscing about how shady the school was, suddenly brightened up and said enthusiastically, "Let's go. It's time to show some skin."

For money, Darica was willing to do anything as long as it didn't go against her conscious.

And since her fangirls loved it, she was the one to go all the way. And as it was also the last day of school, she wouldn't be having too many chances to earn free money from gifts and all that.

So, it was better to make use of this time and earn as much as she could and, at the same time, do something that she also loves and enjoys.

It was more of hitting two birds with one stone.

Seeing her mind diverted from the car issue, Mirabel heaved a sigh of relief and climbed into the car with ease.

And speaking of this car, honestly, this car had indeed been a blessing during bad times.

If one were to say that the F5 came from money, that would be a great lie. They all came from humble families; some were even poorer, and they had it rough.

And this was why they were all obsessed with money, especially their leader and boss, Darica. Seeing how hard she was working every day, they all had the energy and motivation to improve themselves and work towards the overall goal.

To have every single family member of their big family which the school wasn't fully aware of. To have food on their plates, a roof over their head, and above all, access to education.

Who would have thought that the four notorious high schoolers would end up doing something like that in the future?

It was still a mystery, especially to many people, and the four of them weren't willing to share just how they ended up working towards that goal when everyone thought that they would all remain hooligans and society outcasts.

Driving the school car provided by the school for Darica to use. The car that the school was responsible for paying insurance for while Darica only needed to pay for fuel, Owen found himself enjoying every single moment.

Driving from the student council building to the sports building, where students swim, and play basketball and volleyball whenever they are free.

This building was one of the places where F5 had spent most of their time. It was also the place that made them very famous when they were trying to play it low.

And it was also their favorite place.

Darica mostly really loved exercising and keeping herself fit, to the extent that it was a bit confusing whenever people tried to put a gender on her.

It was also how she ended up with the Prince Charming title at first and only when she was elected as the student council president did most students finally know that Darica was female.

And since the prince charming title had already grown on them, it turned into the school charmer, for that was indeed what she was. She charmed anyone who saw her despite keeping a low profile. So, imagine what it would be like when she was in the spotlight.

After driving for like ten minutes, Owen parked skillfully in an exclusive lot for Darica, another spec for being the president.

When she took the position, she made sure to take as many benefits as she could. Otherwise, won't the school drain her for three years just for some title that won't bring food to the table?

She wasn't a pushover and for her; it was give and take, no matter who she was dealing with.

She was just that crazy for benefits and money. And they all loved her for that.
