"Say that again," He demanded, his lips brushing against her temples as he leaned in to press his cheek against hers before pulling her in a warm embrace. He smelled her neck and her hair all that he could at that moment. The ashes around them were starting to evaporate and the smoke around him was slowly starting to subside.

"No," Her denial was followed by a gleeful chuckle which he lived for. 

"But I want to repeat it over and over again." He pulled back and held her chin to move her face up as he stared in her doe eyes. "I love you, Dia."

They stayed like that for a while when she leaned in and kissed him, leaving him befuddled. "I love you, Lio."
