167 I'm Back

When Lucifer opened the bedroom door, Roxus was sitting on the futon, sobbing silently in the dark of the room. Lucifer's face froze. The world felt like a slow-motion when he witness her glistening tears fall down the sheets. The man silently closed the door behind him and approached Roxus calmly. "Ssh," Lucifer knelt beside Roxus and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, it's because I'm pregnant, I'm a little sensitive," Roxus whispered and wiped her tears in a casual manner. She wasn't trying to hide it or force a smile.

"Sshh, I'm back, sorry I was out for a while," Lucifer whispered.

"Mm, thanks for coming back." Roxus with a hoarse voice pulled the blanket aside so Lucifer could go back to sleep by her side. When they were under the covers again, hugging each other, Roxus could smell the blood scent coming from Lucifer's body. Unknowingly the woman cried again but quickly wiped it away.
