Chapter Five

"We have multiple choices." Hope assured him.

"I doubt that." Ethan said.

"And I'm assuring you." Hope said.

"Just stop, okay... You should have just left me there, I didn't need your help." Ethan said, looking at her.

"Why do you want to die?" Hope asked him, as she looked into his eyes, like she was looking for answers but she only saw darkness.

"Why do you want to know? Do you also have a reason to die?" Ethan said, as he laughed.

Seeing him smile, Hope smiled to, his smile was beautiful... She sat down beside him on the bed.

"Everyone wants to..."

"That's a lie," Ethan cut in, "Not everyone wants to die."

"Why do you think so?" Hope asked as Ethan laughed.

"Because not everyone is like me, that thinks death is the only solution."

That actually hits Hope, so she was some kind of people that thinks death is the only solution.

"I always drown myself in the bathtub, I always drive fast in the night to get into an accident, I always starved myself just to die and I always thought my middle name death?" Ethan said softly, not looking at Hope, resting his head on the wall.

"You have really tried to die, do you really want to die that much?" Hope asked.

Hope Brown was surprised, she has someone who is desperate than her to die.

"But,why would a good looking and rich guy like him want to die?" Hope thought.

"Do you think I was stupid, when I told you that you should have left me in the rain." Ethan said, as he looked at her.

Hope felt his face close to hers, she could feel his warm breath, "Hope Brown, you hate this gender."

"You were burning so much in that cold rain, I couldn't just look away."

"Yeah, the sympathy." Ethan chuckled, "You humans just don't know when to look away." He added.

"At least, if you had died, you won't have been talking to this pretty face." Hope forced a smile on her face.

No matter, how much she wanted to die, she didn't want someone else to die with her.

"I know a girl even more pretty than you, so don't butter up." Ethan said, with a smirk on his face, as he got off the bed.

"Well, you don't see that in kdrama." Hope said, making Ethan laugh.

"Why am I making my worst gender laugh? Is it because he's different from the ones I know."

"So I would be leaving, thanks for helping," Ethan said, as he wore his clothes completely, "But I'm not thanking you for saving my life." Ethan said, leaving.

"What's your name?" Hope said hurriedly, stopping Ethan's tracks.

Hope knew it was none of her business but she didn't want him to leave early.

Ethan turned around slowly, "And I thought, I was quite popular."

"Well, maybe not in this surroundings." Hope joked.

"I think, it's not necessary, since we are never seeing again." Ethan said, as he left Hope's house.

"Oh well, maybe I passed my boundaries, God, Hope, you should be hating this gender not liking it." Hope complained loudly to herself, as she rolled on the bed.

"What are you doing here?" Ether asked a middle aged man in his early forties.

"Good morning,Sir Ethan, my name is Joe." Joe said respectfully.

"So Joe, what are you doing here was my question?"

"I would be your at your service, because of your mother won't be around." Joe said.

"Are you guys kidding me?" Ethan yelled, "Where's my mother?"

"She has left already." Joe said.

"Good, great.. now, you can also take your leave." Ether said,as he pointed to the leaving door.

"No sir, I won't be able to do that." Joe said softly.

"You are entitled to me, right?" Ether said as Joe nodded his head, "Fine, leave."

"I'm also entitled to your mother, first..so I can't leave sir." Joe said.

"You guys are frustrating the hell out of me." Ethan yelled,as he walked upstairs angrily.

He entered his room,as he played  If I come back by Sa ding ding.

He entered his bathroom, feeling the bathtub,as he entered it, without undressing himself.

He dipped himself inside the water,as he held his breath.

"We have multiple choices." Ethan could recall what she had said.

"At least, if you had died, you won't have been talking to this pretty face." He smiled underwater, remembering how she said it.

"Why do you want to die?" Remembering that question, she asked,that he didn't reply,he decided to answer her privately.

"Her, I don't have that particular reason of dying, because I know every problem has a situation but I want to leave this hurtful World,this regretful fantasy, making mistakes means you are learning from it. I made a mistake and I want to die with that mistake,I want to apologise to someone I cherish the most that left me, I'm ready to go to heaven, because Heaven is a real place and safe place. The more I know about it, the more I should anticipate it. As I have often suggested, Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people." Ethan replied her in his mind,as he closed his eyes.

"You are fired." Linda said, looking at Hope who stood opposite her in her office,the only thing between them was the office desk.

"I'm so sorry, something stupid came up and I had to be a part of it." Hope defended herself.

"We had a big job yesterday, because of low manpower,we lost few customers, you dummy." Linda yelled.

"I'm so sorry, give me one more chance." Hope begged.

This was the only job she had, she couldn't just get fired because of some guy that she supposed to hate.

"Your name is Hope, right?" Linda questioned..

"Yes," Hope said, nodding her head.

"Since your name is Hope, there is still Hope,now leave." Linda said.

"Gina, don't do it." Ethan said.

"I'm losting your love, Ethan." Gina yelled running upstairs.

"We did something we love, gina." Ethan said as tears filled the brim of his eyes.

"We made a mistake, Ethan." Gina yelled, looking at Ethan.

"No,Gina please, what you are about to do is the mistake."

"Wake up, Ethan," Gina yelled loudly.

Ethan came out from the bathtub, breathing heavily... He was drenched, he looked around the bathroom like he was looking for something that shouldn't be there.

He doesn't know why he's suffering himself, this bad... But he saw it as the best punishment for leaving that day.
