Chapter 1

The wind blow the curtains in the window. Drip!drop! the sounds of the rain dropping in the roof. Lightning strikes and thunder roaring in the night sky. The whole place are very dark. Only the lights coming from the lightning that continuously striking helps the people living in the state see each other. The rain never stop pouring. The state was covered by a very thick dark fog that no one ever notice because the whole mansion are very dark. The black fog takes advantage of the night Since it can't break and held its power during day time.

The girl in the bed curl her body like a cannon ball. She covered her ears and close her eyes tightly.

The Count march his way towards the room of his daughter. With the light coming from the luminouscent pearl he's holding he found the door and knocked.

Since the door was locked he fish the key out from his pocket and unlocked the door. There he saw his daughter curling her body like a cannon ball.

"Naia, darling"-he called and approach the girl. The girl open her green eyes and look at her father.

"Father!"- Naia called and hug his father. Her father Count Henry hugged his daughter back.

Naia's mother died when she was 5 years old. The count didn't remarry and just focused on his daughter and his work. A lot of people including his family told and urge him to find a wife but because he love his wife so much he didn't find a replacement.

He love his daughter so much. That's the only reminder of him of the love that they had with his lovely wife. The fruit of their love.

"Shh..my little darling father is here. Don't be afraid. Everything is gonna be alright."- Henry reassured his daughter.

"Really? The monster will not come and eat me? " - she asked.

"Silly, my little sweetheart. There's no such thing as like that. Besides, I'm here. Your father is a powerful man. No monster can get and eat you."- he smilingly said and stroke his daughters hair.

The girl smiled and burry her head to his fathers chest. And sleep. Her father cover her with her quilt and sleep beside her.

Shanaia Bethany Wilson is the daughter of the Count in Lancanster Kingdom where Magic and power exist including Elemental holder. This kingdom recognized and worship the strong and preys the weak.

She has an uncle who is a Marquis in this Kingdom. Her father dotes on her so much even the Marquis and his wife love her. Her cousins, the sons of the Marquis are very protective of her. She grow up sorrounded with everything. She can have whatever she likes and get whatever she ask. Her life is so perfect that every nobles in the kingdom wish to have.

She has two friends the daughter of the Viscount and the daughter of the head of the Imperial knight in the kingdom. Their enemy is the daughter of the Baron who is so much in love with the Crown Prince.

Since all the people in the Kingdom has magic it is impossible for her not to have. Her mother is an elemental holder. She has the power of the wind. But reality hit her hard, even though her mother is an elemental holder and his father is a powerful magus she didn't inherit their power. Only the beauty of her mother that can cause the downfall of ones country she inherited. She has green eyes like her mother, fair skin, delicate body that even an slight pinch makes her skin red and earned bruises. Only her hair she inherit from his father. His father has gray eyes, very tall and handsome. He has this hair that looks so different from all the people in this kingdom. He's the only one who has a silver colored hair in the entire Kingdom.

According to grandma, she gave birth to father near the forbidden forest in the Kingdom. She almost died but someone help her deliver her son safely. She didn't remember the looks of the lady who helped her, she only remembers that she has silver hair.

That's why until now it is still a question why father has silver hair when his family don't have. All kinds of rumors fly around the kingdom but no one knows the truth. Since father is close to the King, he grow up protected by Him.

There are five Kingdoms in this continent called Violet. According to the legends the goddess Selene lives at the center of the continent where no one can enter it is the forbidden area of all the kingdoms and since it lies at the center, all the kingdoms are connected in it.

I'm 11 years old going on 12 this coming Spring. Since it's Autumn now the weather is very cold. The snow is falling in the backyard. I passed the night last night in my father's arms.

When I woke up father is already gone. He only leave a note saying he's gone for a while because the King summon all the officials to the palace maybe because of the things happened last night.

He also told me not to forget to eat my breakfast. Hayyy..my father is so very caring.

My maid Reina deliver my breakfast in my room.

I have 4 personal maid: Reina, Vevianne, Sarah and Lucy. I have two Knights, Zeke and Ismael. Father wants me to have a lot of knights since I don't have a power or magic but I declined his decision. This two knights are more than enough.

Beside, I know that he assigned a lot of hidden guards who follows me everywhere. Knowing his protectiveness, he can't just stay idle.

According to Sarah the bridge that connected to the Lamiera Island cracked last night. That really surprised me. The bridge connected to Lamiera Island was casted by the powerful Magus in the Kigndom. It was made of pure magic. You can even mistake it as if it was made of Ice since it was transparent and crystal like. It will only get a crack if someone has dark magic passed by it. Since it was made by pure light magic if dark magic user pass by it, it will get a crack. There are two types of magic users in this kingdom. The dark user that lives in the south of the kingdom and the light user in the north that's why there's no conflict.

According to the book I've read there are a total of five kinds of race exists in this continent. Humans, demons, fairies, magic users and immortals.

But only humans and magic users left even elemental holder decrease their quantity. Only the lineage of the duke and Imperial family produces elemental holder without failing. Other nobles and commoners can also produces elemental holder if they are lucky. You can have both elemental holder and magic if you're lucky. You can even attain two or three kinds of elements. Only the lineage of the dukedom can produce the fire elemental holder. The rest can't, even the Imperial family. So in the whole Lancanster Kingdom only the family of the duke has the fire attribute.The wife of the duke comes from the neighboring kingdom, which is the Luntan kingdom. The kingdom known for their strong military strategies and command.

In the five kingdoms only the Hellfords kingdom was feared by all. Rumors says that no one sees the King of the said Kingdom. No one can even enter in that place. There was a barrier that no one can pass. According to my father, inside that Kingdom lives a very powerful man that no one can ever defeat even if all the kingdom will join hands and fight they will be bound to fail. So only the four kingdoms compete each other of who is the most powerful kingdom. Since no one ever saw the people coming out in the Hellford's kingdom so they just leave them be.

Since father is very close to the King he knows almost all the things happening in this Kingdom. Even His Majesty the King, King Raphael Rudson is very much polite to the King of Hellford's Kingdom. It's not true that no one sees the King of Hellford because His Majesty sees him together with my father and the Duke of Lancanster, Duke Harry Crux. The King of Hellford is very powerful, he has this power that is very suffocating. His presence is enough to kill you. His aura is very strong that you can't help to kneel and worship him that was said and experience by my father. So in short he's scary.

So..enough of that let's not talk about him. Let me just focus on the people living in this Kingdom.

King Raphael Rudson and Queen Leonora has three sons and two daughters. The eldest Prince Reese Rudson,the Crown Prince. The second Prince Rio Rudson and the third Prince Reliegh and the two Princesses Roxanne and Rose.

Count Household, Henry Wilson. His wife Selene not Selene the goddess that rumored to be living in the forbidden forest, the forest of Lamiera. And their daughter which is me, Shanaia Bethany Wilson.

Viscount household, Jake Sterling and his wife Juliet with their daughters Jasmine and Janine and son Jasper.

My friend Annie comes from the lineage of a knight. He's father is the Head of all the empire's knight. He's brother Andrew serves the Crown Prince.
