Chapter Twenty

As expected, Collin got the address that Trisha said she was going to send earlier that morning.

In Collin's opinion, he wasn't going there for Trisha entirely, he thought he was killing two birds with one stone. He intended to see the house Adriana lived too, hopefully even see her.

The guy must have entered another level of delusion.

He entered the villa quite shaken, he knew they were rich, but he didn't know they were that rich. "I've finally made bank!", Collin exclaimed.

How stupid was he to think that Adriana and Dave would actually let him in on all the money they already acquired.

He was led inside by another staff that Paula already hired after her husband cheated with the other lady.

Trisha was already waiting for him in the living room, the usual smile she reserved for him gone, all that was left was the cold glare which she didn't bother to change.

Her facial expression set Collin off, however he couldn't do much as he didn't even know she was aware of his cheating.

He initially thought it would be over as soon as he coaxed her, but after he saw her facial expression, something in him knew it wasnt going to be over at that.

"Take a seat!", Trisha said, pointing towards the sofa was directly opposite the one she was sitting on.

"I might as well do!", Collin said, taking the seat as Trisha directed him.

"So why am I here?!", Collin asked, impatient.

"How long have you been seeing her?!", Trisha asked, going straight to the point.

"What do you mean seeing her, seeing who!?", Collin asked, feigning ignorance!

"I'm not dumb Collin, how long have you been seeing Adriana?!"

That question was enough to throw Collin off, although he wasnt going to admit it that quickly without trying to lie his way through. His palms turned sweaty out of reflex.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, Trisha added, "you really must take me for a fool Collin!"

"I loved you so much, very, very much! However it turns out that…!", Trisha didn't even get to complete the sentence before Collin interrupted.

"What do you mean by that, I loved you too!", The sentence was enough to trigger Trisha's pent up emotions.

"You loved me!! You loved me Collin! Yet, why is it that you cheat on me, you cheated on me Collin. Out of every woman in the whole world, my stepsister!!

We've been together for so long yet for once you never thought it was right to be engaged to me. I give you all my love, I respect your every wishes, just because I couldn't have sex with you, you take the stupid rod between your legs and you cheat with her!!?"

After some time, Trisha finally calmed down, and she spoke again, "this is the last straw Collin, I won't be a part of whatever charade you've involved me in. From this moment onwards Collin, we're done. We're done for good!", Trisha said, before she called for one of the helpers around the house.

Collin who thought he could lie his way through had no chance of doing any of what he planned.

Rather than talking according to plan, he was too stunned to speak.

"Escort this man out of the house! And never let him in!", Trisha said as she headed up the stairs, Elle following closely behind who Collin had failed to notice.

"This way sir!", The helper said motioning towards the door as she saw that Collin was taking too long to stand up.

Not only had he pieced on or two together, he had realized that Trisha was still a part of the plan, basically, she wasn't supposed to know about him and Adriana until the plan was completed. It could only be Elle that could have told her.

Too bad, Collin didn't know the plan had been completed and he wasn't even a part of it, Adriana and Dave had procured their plane tickets and were sure to be leaving soon.

Paula suddenly heard her phone ring, she sat up as she reached for the phone.

Her lawyer was calling, Maybe Dave did send the divorce papers after all.

She received the call, "Hello!?", Paula said as she picked the call.

"What have you done!?", Paula's lawyer and close friend Barbara asked over the phone.

"What, what do you mean by that?!", Paula asked, wondering what the problem was.

"How could you sign everything to him!!", Barbara asked, more like shrieked!
