She side-eyed him and before he could turn to look at her, looked at the back of her grandmother.

"And," Lorelai turned around and side-eyed grace, "this one got fired."

Grace straightened up. What the hell? "Grandma, what the heck?!"

Christian chuckled, pulling up his signature charm. "I heard. What a shocker. They definitely lost a good employee."

"That they did." Lorelai turned around and focused on the sauce. " This Christian, take the wine to the table."
