3 Creature From Dream

It is Gaurav's second day at his home in India. Classes in the university started a month ago. He was already late, so he didn't want to miss any lectures. After the discussion last night, he was not angry anymore. He woke up early today morning and went to the university without having breakfast.

He went to the university in his car. He parked his car and turned towards his left to take his bag. When he turned left, a guy with scruffy brown hair, wearing spectacles, was waving his hand, looking at him.

Gaurav opened the window, and the person said, " Hello!! I am Pratik. "

" Hi "

" My dad told me that you are coming today. "

" Sorry, but I didn't recognise you. Who is your dad? "

" Mr.Harsha. He and your dad are good friends."

Then Gaurav remembered that one day his dad told him about that person.

" If you come out, we can talk while moving inside. "

Then Gaurav came out of his vehicle and started moving into the university.

" So, you are Mr.Harsha's son."

" Yes, and he told me to help you until you get adjusted to this new environment."

" Thanks for that! By the way, I am Gaurav. "

They shook their hands and went to their room. Gaurav is unfamiliar with the Indian education system. So, Mr.Roy asked his friend's son to help him. SDU has a vast campus which Gaurav did not expect to be. He would have faced a problem in finding his room if Pratik was not there.

Pratik introduced Gaurav to his friends and after a while, they started with their classes. In no time, it was noon already, and they went to the canteen.

" Canteen is this way! "

" Yeah!! "

" I think this is the first time you are about to eat indian food after many years. "

" Nope! My aunt would make them on some occasions "

" I have seen it in the menu in some restaurants before, but never dared to try it. "

" Lets talk about it after you come home. " Gaurav felt relieved when he heard that. Pratik arrived with the lunch.

" Why do you look tensed Gaurav? " asked Pratik. Gaurav just moved his head horizontally. Pratik placed the plates on the table and pulled the chair back to sit.

When Pratik held the chair and moved it, Gaurav sensed that something was coming towards them. Pratik turned and was about to sit, then Gaurav saw a sharp object was coming towards Pratik with a great force. He dropped the phone, stood, and pushed Pratik.

When Gaurav pushed Pratik, that object missed Pratik, but it made a slight scratch on Gaurav's hand and hit the wall making a crack on its surface.

" What was that? " asked Pratik.

" How do I know. "

Then Gaurav saw that it was coming again. But this time, he caught that object with the edges of his thumb and index fingers. He wondered how he was able to sense and grab an object coming at an incredible speed. He doesn't know where that power has come from, but he was able to feel it. That object was a spike, and both the spikes were thrown from the same direction. Everyone in the canteen started screaming and was running to the exit.

Gaurav was tensed, Pratik was trembling with fear, and Mrs.Roy was on the phone. She was shouting, " Gaurav!! Gaurav!! What is happening there. Gaurav please answer. " Gaurav observed it and picked the phone.

" Hello, mom "

" Gaurav! Gaurav! What happened? " worryingly asked Mrs.Roy.

Then Gaurav tilted his face towards the direction from which the spikes appeared. He saw something weird was standing there. But he was unsure about that because the students were running, which made it difficult for him to look at it.

When most of them left, he was able to see it and said to his mom, " I think, they are here mom. "

" What? What do you mean by they appeared? "
