Chapter 47 lied

Bei ruolan suddenly felt cold. she looked around and took the remote. she made the air conditioner temperature higher so that its just warm and stable.

she slipped in to her bed and patted the other side of the bed to her husband. "come on. its cold standing on the floor"

rong longwei shifted his gaze from the picture and laid down on the bed.

"I want you to wear that dress but in our room. I want to see it in my own eyes" romg rested his arm on her waist.

bei ruolan blushed, "I've grown fatter. that dress probably didn't fit me anymore"

"you're still the same. nothing change" rong longwei skimmed her body for a moment before answering.

the sweet rose scent of her body entered his nostrils as he drew closer.

bei ruolan raised her brows, "you must be kidding. My thighs and arms grew bigger this past few years"

"why are you so insecure with your body? whenever I pick you up, you are light as a feather. you don't even gain any weight" rong longwei knocked her forehead

bei ruolan didn't say anything and just looked at the ceiling. a woman will always be insecure of her body after she got herself a man. the fear of being abandoned engulfed her whole heart.

"If you still feel you can't fit with that dress, let me tell your uncle liang to make you a new one" rong longwei stopped talking about that topic and changed it after seeing her sudden quietness.

bei ruolan closed her eyes, "dear husband, you've become talkative lately"

rong longwei pinched her waist. "I'm trying to talk with my wife"

"oh come on, lets sleep" bei ruolan kissed the corner of his lips and nestled in his embrace. she fall asleep quickly after feeling the man caressing her back.

knock knock!

the sudden noise wake the two occupants on the bed.

"who is it knocking my room in dawn?!" bei ruolan groaned and ruffled her hair. she glanced at her husband who was still sleeping and reluctantly walked to the door.

bei rujian face appeared the moment she opened the door. thankfully she didn't slap him becuase of shock and can control her body from doing reflex movements.

"boy, if it isn't something important, you better prepare your cheek for my hand to land later" bei ruolan warned.

bei rujian took a step back for safety. "zhengyu and I will go to the company with the twins so you and your husband will be left alone. remember to eat breakfast first before going back home"

"and dad?" bei ruolan raised her brows.

"he will come along," bei rujien replied.

bei ruolan sighed, "Alright.that's it?"

bei rujian jolted a bit. "Mmm....t-thats all!"

"you are really seeking death! you can just tell the butler and tell him to notify me, why are you so diligent to knock on my door?" bei ruolan roared. she kicked his leg and closed the door.

bei rujian whimpered like a cat losing its tail. although it's good you didn't slap me but don't kick me so hard! it is so painful!

bei ruolan huffed angrily. she laid down beside her husband and took a deep breathe of his cool and minty scent. she snuggled closer and fall asleep again.

later, rong longwei body clock wake himself up. he quietly slipped out from the bed and checked his phone. its 6 in the morning.

he looked at his sleeping wife and took the towel he used last night for a shower.

when he finished showering, he used a robe and entered the bedroom only to see his wife sit on the bed in a daze.

"after we eat breakfast, lets go to the company" rong longwei patted her head and opened his phone to call yang guchen. he told him to bring a new set of clothes for him.

bei ruolan rubbed her eyes. her face must be swollen after sleeping. she covered her face and walked to the dressing table to see her face.

"Hubby, I'm so ugly after sleeping!" she exclaimed.

"hm? you look the same to me" rong longwei really didn't understand women. why did they always felt insecure of everything? his wife have been acting as if she have grew old and acted as if she have wrinkles on her face.

bei ruolan glared at him from the reflection of the mirror. hmph! men didn't know anything!

rong longwei found Qiao liang contact and texted him to make a new dress like what bei ruolan worn during the photo shoot.

the reply came very quickly, : [that dress? didn't xiao ruo told you that she have another same dress?]

rong longwei turned off his phone and raised his head. he met with his wife's gaze.

"wife, say, did you lied to me?" his voice was dangerous and his face was smiling.

bei ruolan shivered. ahh, did he found out?! did her uncle sold her out?! that damn uncle really is shameless!

"I-I'll take a shower" she took her towel and dashed out to bei rujian's room.

rong longwei watched her escaped from the questioning. did she think she can get away after that?

he took his phone and walked out from the room. he saw yang guchen standing in the doorway with a bag of clothes.

"boss, this is your suit. where is the madam and the rest? Its so quiet" Yang guchen look around and see that its only the servants and butler working around.
