Chapter 11

"Rooney !" Hugo, Travis, James and Mia screamed and ran to the parking lot to check on her.

At the parking lot...

" Rooney !! " They ran to meet the medics who just brought out of the car

"who are you ?" One of the medics asked " I'm her boyfriend and she's her sister " Hugo answered anxiously

" Okay, the patient passed out due to shock and there are no major injuries except for a glass piece that has cut deep into her flesh, she'll need to be taken care of so come to the city hospital " the medic said and left with the ambulance.

Mia's cellphone rang " Hello mum " Mia answered with a shaky voice " Mia where are you and where's Rooney " Gina asked anxiously " she's in the ambulance she got injured due to the bomb blast " Mia said and finally broke down and at that moment " Get in the car " They heard James say and they all went to the city hospital

At the hospital.....

" Who's a family member to the patient " A doctor asked " Me " They saw Mark Mia's brother

He was given to his father when Gina and their father got divorced  "I'm her brother" he said " okay, follow me I'll need to let you know some things" The doctor said and Mark followed without any hesitation. "Big brother is back !!" Mia said witha smile.

After 30 minutes.....

" Where is my daughter " Gina came running down the hospital hallway " she's fine " Mia said reassuring her and that was when the nurse and doctor came out of the ward " Doctor how's she? " they asked impatiently" she's fine, she's only asleep " the doctor said.

" Mum, big brother came "  Mia said " Mark's here ? " Gina asked surprised "Yes" At that moment they saw him " Mark " Gina called out to him but instead of answering he gave Hugo 2 punches " Where were you when your maniac ex planted that bomb in my sister's car ? "  Mark asked shaking in anger while Hugo kept quiet " Thank your stars I overheard their conversation " Mark said glaring daggers at Hugo.

Yup, immediately Luna decided to have a " friendly" conversation with Rooney, she sent a beep to her brother which made him stay close to where they had their conversation just in case.

" Mark, it's not his fault " Gina said " No mum, if he had stayed by her side and told her that he had an ex, she wouldn't had left out of anger " Mark said still supporting his sister

" Yo.... Mia congratulations " He said and left.

Few hours later.....

" Wake up please " Hugo said from his sleep " I'm awake " Rooney replied and then he bolted up from his sleep " You should have laid down more comfortably " Rooney said smiling " You're awake ? " "Mhmm.... how long have you been there " she asked caressing his face

" some hours " Hugo replied " why's your cheek swollen ?  " she asked noticing the swollen area on his face " I did it " Mark said coming in " Brother !!, I told you not to do anything to him if something happened " Rooney said " I know but I couldn't help it " Mark replied a bit guilty

" I already took the girl who did this to an assylum " He said casually " Brother !! " Rooney said frustrated

" You just woke up eat some fruit " Mark said and stuffed some apples in her mouth while Hugo laughed at the childish banter between the siblings and then the rest came into the ward and they all checked on Rooney and they were all assured she was fine.

" When will you come back " Gina asked " Tomorrow but till then you all should take care of yourself and no fighting " Mark said like he was instructing his kids " Yes dad " they all teased while he smiled and left
