(POV Kid Flash)

After being slobbered on by Shift in one of His 'Forms' I guess I don't honestly know how His powers work.

But currently, I could tell Shift was tracking Bane's scent for reasons I don't know.

After walking for about thirty minutes I and the rest of the Team. Arrived at a cliff that we were on top of.

From the view, everyone could see Santa Prisca's Venom factory.

At the sight of the factory both Robin and I used our Googles/Binoculars. To see what was on the base.

What we found was Kobra Cultists moving around buckets of Venom at the sight Robin spoke out.

"Look at all that product. A buy is going down."

"Just what I was thinking."

I responded to Robin's theory because of all the drugs near the Helipad are likely so the Buyer can organize which product He wants to take.

"Yeah, you're the thinker."

Robin decided to play the quip game but before I could deliver a counter quip I was stopped by the sound of a boulder being moved.

Once I turned I saw both Shift and SuperBoy lift a boulder tossing it to the side revealing an underground mine shaft.

I was surprised that Shift knew about it and I could ask Him how he knew but refrained from it cause after moving the boulder I was reminded of his tracking abilities.

Shift then touched His neck and I think I saw a green glow emitted from Him turning Shift back to normal.

(POV Josh)

After using Bane's scent to find the underground mine shaft which was a secret entrance installed by Bane.

Sadly though I only have knowledge of Young Justice up to Artemis joining the team and that was it.

"Shift how'd you know where the mine was?"

Kid asked me this in utter confusion and before I could respond Robin answered.

"Super smell. Shift probably tracked Bane's scent to this mine."

After Robin's explanation, everyone looked at me for confirmation. Which I simply nodded and added.

"Bane is known to be a tyrant and now well was a drug lord so in all likelihood Bane would've installed a way only He knew to enter hence the mine."

After that, everyone looked at me with impressed expressions while Robin simply looked like He expected it.

The Team and I soon followed the path down the mine stumbling on a closet door. Where once opened revealed large pipes likely trying to create more Venom for this buyer they have.

"Robin go to the main control room and find what you can. Kid cover Robin while the rest of us investigate."

After fully opening the Door Robin left with Kid while MM became see-through by placing Her hood on and levitated leading the way.

Followed by MM was Me, Lad, and SuperBoy who kept our eyes and ears peeled.

Once we got behind a truck I noticed something and to prove my point SuperBoy spoke.

"This is old Venom?"

"It seems like I thought they want to sell the newest batch likely a new formula."

As I collected my thoughts SuperBoy spoke again looking to the windows outside.

"There is a Helicopter coming."

After following SuperBoy's gaze I too could see the Helicopter slowly coming inbound.

'I likely have enough charge for one more transformation that'll last at least an hour I shouldn't waste it.'

After watching the Helicopter land a man in a hockey mask walked down to another man who seemed to lead the Cultists. Likely Kobra.

The man with the hockey mask walked forward where Kobra and a Cultist who held a briefcase in hand waiting to give it away.

-We need that Briefcase. Aqua-Lad in case I can't speak again take command. And SuperBoy operation SMASH.-

-Understood-

-Heck yeah!-

Lad was the first to act taking command by signaling MM to close the distance between them and the enemy.

While both SuperBoy and I jumped in front of the enemy after I pressed down on the Omnitrix.

(POV General)

After Shift activated the Omnitrix His form like before changed to a blue and black design with a vest resembling the Omnitrix's main colors of black and green.

Shift's new body seemed to look like a lizard standing on two black balls one attached to each foot.

Shift's face was covered by a black mask with a blue X over it. The mask was attached to what seemed to be a long bike helmet.

And just like the helmet and mask Shift's skin was a combination of black and blue. Shift's arms were blue with a blue spike coming out each elbow leaving each hand black.

Shift's new tail was like any lizard except for the fact of its colors being a zebra pattern of black and blue.

"XLR8!"

Once transformed Shift now XLR8 grabbed the eager SuperBoy and began spinning Him round and round like a merry-go-round until finally releasing Him.

SuperBoy flew across the factory and Helipad soaring through the air like a bullet hitting Kobra away from the group.

From the collision, Kobra had knocked His cultist down. Who then released the briefcase in the air.

The man in the hockey Mask known as Sportsmaster threw a small hook at the brief hitting its target. Sportsmaster began to pull the Case towards Him only to get punched by a blue blur hitting Him back and forth.

Lad and MM joined the fight Lad took care of the Cultists using His Water Bearers forming Aquatic weapons like a hammer, sword, shield, and Etc.

While MM focused on the briefcase using Her psychic powers to bring the case towards them.

Kobra after being Hit by SuperBoy grunted in pain but didn't allow himself to fall and charged back to Hit SuperBoy.

Superboy felt nothing and then threw Kobra towards XLR8 who upon His flurry of fast blows was somehow caught by Sportsmaster's hand.

"*scoffs* Speedsters are all the same."

Once caught Sportsmaster didn't react to Shift's powers since He was already warned by the Light and was told in case of contact to take Him in alive.

Through the second of recognizing His target, Sportsmaster punched XLR8 back in the face dealing Him some damage.

After being knocked back Sportsmaster began to close the distance by throwing a spear He had in hand. Only to dodge a BATARANG that was thrown at Him.

From the shadows appeared Robin shocked to find another Alien with more powers leading Robin to The second conclusion He had come up with throughout the mission.

"Robin, what didn't you contact us?"

A raspy voice escaped XLR8's mouth asking for clarity and answers.

"Static. But we need that case they somehow combined both the Blockbuster Serum and Venom together making the user both stronger and permanent."

XLR8 knew what to do and focused using His psychic link to everyone.

—Everyone the goal hasn't changed take the Case. I'll deal with the Hockey man over here.-

Upon XLR8's orders, MM who had the case began to fly away but was stopped by some Cultists who began to fire off their guns hitting the case and causing it to fall.

Sportsmaster used this opportunity throwing a smoke pellet to the ground and went to the case.

XLR8 ran after but tripped over a bolo Sportsmaster left in front causing XLR8 to flip right over Sportsmaster and hit the ground.

SuperBoy as He was fighting the now Venomed Kobra kept firing punch after punch until Kobra countered sending SuperBoy flying.

Kid who had just entered the battle saved SuperBoy from the fall catching him and tossing him back into the fight.

As their battle continued Sportsmaster began His escape by first grabbing the briefcase and then running away.

So far the plan worked Sportsmaster succeeded in retrieving the briefcase amongst the smoke cover.

To only fail the escape while inside the smoke a gust of wind passed Sportsmaster by. Soon enough another gust was followed by a whirlwind.

The smoke around Sportsmaster soon became a tornado no a twister of smoke leaving Sportsmaster in the eye of the storm.

Sportsmaster decided to think quickly before He loses oxygen throwing another spear in the way of whatever speedster was running blocking the way for it to continue running.

After moving out of the way XLR8 stops the twister He had started facing Sportsmaster with a visible grin on His face revealing His emerald eyes saying in His raspy voice.

"Gotcha"

Sportsmaster instinctively turned around finding Robin swiftly kicking Him in the face nearly knocking Sporrmasters mask off His face.

"Ughh"

After the contusion from Sportsmaster's face to Robin's kick the Briefcase again flew in the air landing on the ground and opening up revealing twelve vials of the combination of the Blockbuster and Venom serums.

XLR8 swiftly moved for the opened case to suddenly be hit by Superboy and Kid Flash who were thrown by Kobra.

After being hit Sportsmaster used Robin's slight confusion and attacked Him knocking Robin back with a kick to the gut and then grabbed as many Vials as He could before disappearing with another smoke pellet.

MM and Aqua-Lad soon joined the team in hopes of stopping Sportsmaster's escape only succeeding in grabbing a total of five vials leaving the other seven in Sportsmaster's hands.
