The interrogation

The helicarrier lifted into the air and began flying through the sky. "Had a bet?" I asked looking at Fury and Steve's interaction.

" Oh, mister Tennyson. Did you enjoy your little tour of the place? " Fury asked as he and I shook hands. This is when I realized just how massive Fury is with a highly trained physique standing at a height of 1,89 meters tall.

" Yes, I did, it was a little overwhelming I must say. I never thought something this big could fly in the air." I admitted, honestly as we shook hands.

" Well, I believe there are still more surprises to come." Said Fury in a serious tone. Hitting at the reason why he and others with unique abilities were recruited. " Am sure Agent, Hill informed you that I would like to have a word with you. "

" Yeah, " I admitted with a sigh in my heart. " Good, for now, get to know the rest of the team, I'll send someone to get you later. " Fury explained before finally letting go of my hand, which he had been grasping firmly.

Before turning to leave the bridge, looking at my right hand, I was a little surprised at the amount of strength Fury had. It was nothing exaggerated but, it was still quite notable.

" Hey... there's something I've been meaning to ask you. If you don't mind? " Hearing the voice I turned to look at Bruce who resembles Eric Bana.

Who was now standing in front of me while Natasha was showing Steve the helicarrier bridge center.

" Sure, ask away." I encourage Bruce with a smile. " Ah... Thank you. You can turn into different creatures with unique abilities. How do you control it." Hearing Bruce's words, I understood what his getting at.

" Hmmm... Well, I know what you're trying to ask. However, my ability to transform is mainly due, to this thing on my wrist. " I pointed to the Omnitrix on my left wrist.

Its appearance is now vastly different from when I first arrived to this world, which had previously been a slimmer version of the classic Omnitrix.

Now it looks more like the one from Omniverse which I prefer showing in public.

This was thanks to unlocking, partial master control which now gave me, the ability to use the watches. A.I computer for various things. I still can't unlock new transformations or stay in a transformation as long as I want.

This was after Ben asked the Omnitrix A.I computer to unlock a few of its features. Which the A.I didn't reply at first but, after asking it nicely again to at least convey his thoughts to Azmuth about requesting certain features to be unlocked earlier.

As a sort of compensation for the three sending himself, to this new reality for still unknown reasons. Now looking at Bruce's confused expression as he stares at my raised left wrist.

I decided to explain further to clear his doubts." So other than that one you call Rath, you're mostly in control. You never have to take a back seat in the driver's seat. " Bruce inquired more.

"Yeah, basically I'm always in the driver seat. The only difference is some of the species traits are more overwhelming than others." As I was explaining things to Bruce at this moment Hill and Natasha approached the two of us.

Interrupting our conversation, "Well sorry for Interrupting you boy's chat but, Fury would like Doctor Banner to start working on locating the Tesseracts. " Natasha explained looking at Bruce.

" And as for you Tennyson, Fury is ready to have that talk now. " Hill informed me with a smile that seemed very suspicious. "So please follow me," Hill said before turning to lead the way. Bruce and I at this moment gave each other a nod before we both followed our respective female spies away.

Steve also left with Coulson somewhere else, as I followed Hill's leading the way I had an itching feeling for this private discussion. Isn't going to go how I expect it to.

Upon finally reaching our destination entering a room first, I couldn't find Fury figure anywhere. Suddenly I felt something hitting the side of his neck. Pulling it out I found it was a tranquilizer dart, that came from Hill's pointed gun standing right beside me.

Before I blacked out for the second time in two and half years. "How long will he be out for?" Fury's voice came into the room just as Ben blacked out and hit the floor.

" Should be an hour. " Hill answers still looking at Ben lying on the ground. "Have you managed to break through his security system on his computer?" Asked Fury as he stared at the knock-out Tennyson on the floor.

" No. The tech team still says it's impossible to get in. The security is too strong, it doesn't help that it's in a different language not common on earth." Hill said this time turning to look at Fury who is now standing beside her.

" Hmmm..." Fury remained silent staring at the unconscious Ben in front of him.

" Sir, his able to create an A.I similar to Stark's. Maybe Stark is the only person who can get in." Hill continued as she gave her report.

" Get another blood sample from him. Also, try to see if there is a way to get that watch off of him by any means necessary. If you can't put a lock on it so he can't turn into something we can't contain." Fury said after some thought.

" Should we put him in cell 26B containment cell?" Hill suggested wanting to be extra cautious now. They decided to treat him like a prisoner.

" No, strip him down for now. And tie him down." Fury decided this was just a test there was no need to lock him up in that type of containment cell for now.

" Are you sure about this? We don't know what else he can turn into. Or if that watch on his wrist is what really gives him his abilities." Hill stated as she stared at Ben sprawled out on the floor face first.

" Well. We'll find that out for ourselves. Won't we." Fury said finally, before turning around to leave. " Call when he begins to show signs of waking up. "

45 minutes later inside the same room on the helicarrier. Ben woke up groggily from the bed.

A clunking sound rang as Ben lifted his left wrist where the Omnitrix lay. "Ah... Really?" I voice as I wake up after being tranquilized.

My eyes glowed green as I scanned the room. It was inspired by the Nightwings contact lenses from Young Justice Outsider. Doing this quick scan of the room I finally looked at myself.

His green jacket along with the utility belt were taken off. His kinetic boots were the only thing taken off me that were still in the room. While my green jacket and utility belt were nowhere to be seen inside the room.

" You woke up thirty minutes earlier than I calculated. You've got a pretty strong body there. "Hill's voice came into my ears, as she entered the room.

Turning to look at her entering the room as she came closer. " Thanks, I worked hard for it, if you hadn't already noticed. " I answered jokingly.

Toxin resistance is a part of the training I set up for myself, I'm still affected by most toxins like the one Hill used on me. However, my body's recovery periods is a little faster thanks to the training I've been doing.

" You don't seem quite that upset about suddenly being detained. Unless you already knew this was likely going to happen?" Hill questioned her arms crossed over her chest this seems to be a habit of hers I thought to myself.

" Well, I suspected something like this would happen. But, certainly not a couple of minutes after I got here." I answered honestly this situation was long expected.

" The scar on your left eyebrow. You didn't have that before we were attacked. " I asked curious about the current situation.

" Well, let's just say we learned not to try and get that device off your wrist. " Hill explained, recalling the blast of green blast of energy that sent five of their tech experts including herself flying.

Three of them were now seriously injured two with only light scratches. She and another female agent in the room only got a few scratches here and there.

" You did what?" I asked in a serious tone my usual nonchalant nowhere to be found as I looked at Agent Hill seriously.

" So you can be serious. I thought you were..."

" Omnitrix states report. " I spoke out not paying attention to Hills' words.

" All Omnitrix functions are running at optimum. The Omnitrix is currently set to protection mode. Master Tennyson. " Answered a robotic voice that sounds a lot like me.

" It as it's on built-in A.I with your voice. " Hill questioned as she stared at the Omnitrix on my wrist.

" Just be thankful that you're still here," I said with a relieved tone. The last thing I wanted was for a bunch of monkeys tampering with the Omnitrix.

Yes, the monkeys referring to whoever in SHIELD was tasked with trying to mess with the Omnitrix.

" Is that a threat Mr Tennyson? " Fury asked as he walked into the room.

" It has a built-in self-destruct sequence. With a determined range set in. I think I have a right to be upset. " I explained sarcastically but my tone didn't change.

This is something I set myself as one of the few countermeasures I set in place. This is the Marvel universe anything can happen it was best to have measures set in place.

The explosion isn't very large just a few meters. Just in case to take out someone with me if I were unconscious. There is also the whole life protection mode but, like I said anything can happen in this universe.

On the other side, Fury and Hill's hearts sped up a little at Ben's words. Something that powerful had to have countermeasures in such situations. Fury quickly calmed down after a few seconds his years of experience clearing his thoughts.

" Currently we are facing a potential global catastrophe, and I need to know if we can trust you. " Fury explained before beginning to uncuff t Ben's restraints.

" I'm only telling you this now, as you can see we can easily capture you if we want to. Not to mention we already have countermeasures ready for you. Besides a big green foot. " Fury said before finally releasing me.

" Ah... is this it?" I couldn't help but ask. It seems like Fury just wanted to test what I'd do after being captured. As well as showing off Shield ability as well.

Hill on the other side had the same thoughts at this moment, she also understood that this is Fury's sign of putting trust in Tennyson's character at this moment.

Which places a bad taste in her mouth of letting him go just like this. After Fury finished uncuffing Ben he gave Hill a look, which Hill quickly understood from Fury's expression.

Moments later back on the bridge. "Well then the three of you already know the situation where all face. However, it has come to our attention that there is more about the Tesseract than we imagined." Said Fury in a serious tone.

"There's more?" Questioned Natasha who hadn't been informed about this new development.

" Yes, besides Hydra using the Tesseract power to create advanced technology in the war. And Shield trying to use it to harness unlimited energy for the world. Mr Tennyson here who claims to have traveled through space. Says that it can also be used to create a portal that can not only transport a single person across space but, an entire army. "

'Ah, when did I ever say that? I only said that the Tesseract could likely open up portals anywhere through space. This was only my conjecture. It seems Fury and the rest of Shield have decided to believe I'm not from Earth.

This is kinda true his also been to space as Jetray but, I didn't travel far. I thought to myself as Fury continued as he walked around the round table as he spoke.

" An entire army? " Asked Steve his face changing expression slightly but, remains calm on the surface.

" If Loki could to earth using the power Tesseract... "

" Why can't an entire army. " Natasha finished as Bruce on the side began contemplating. So did Steve.

" For now we can remain calm in the worst possible situation. " I said everyone's attention fell on me.

" Loki likely isn't powerful enough to open a big enough portal to bring his army here. He also knew not to kill Doctor Selvig and Barton. "

Natasha's hands tighten at hearing Barton's name being mentioned. Fury glanced at her the his signal eye as I kept talking.

" Hence why he took Barton and Selvig he needs them."

" Doctor Selvig was working on creating the C.M. medicine to harness the power of the Tesseract," Bruce adds as he read all the files on Selvig and his research project.

" And Barton who was watching the project knew where to find the material needed to build another machine that brought Loki to earth. " Natasha add, knowing her partner well and what his next action would be.

" So where do we find all the parts they need?" Questioned Steve looking at everyone here.

" Natasha, Rogers, Tennyson the three of you are heading to Germany. Doctor Banner get to work on tracking the cube." Commanded Fury now knowing where Barton and Loki would be.
