20 Chapter 20: Confrontation (Part 2)

After a couple of hours of waiting they wake up, and I start addressing both of them, "So, how does it feel like to get your asses whooped by me. I know, I know, it's such an unbelievable experience that you can't compare it to anything else. I have that effect on people. For me, it was a fun experience. I needed to let out some steam and you were just the right volunteers for it. Good times…"

My face then changes from a smile to a cold exterior, "Anyways, let's get into more pressing matters. What are you planning? Why has Malware extracted different plants, and how come you waited all this time to come for me?"

They were first looking at me with stupefied faces. Khyber was the first to recover and respond, "It's impossible but just for the sake of it… Are you Ben Tennyson?"

I then respond, "Huh, what do you mean? Of course, who else were you expecting? Santa and his elves? What kind of stupid question is this?"

Khyber then talks again after contemplating for a minute, "You don't seem to be aware… You are dead. You've been dead for more than a year. Your death became common knowledge among everyone in the universe. The great hero Ben Tennyson's death. Otherwise, why else would Ben Tennyson ignore hundreds of worlds asking to be saved…. Why else would he allow the creator of the Omnitrix to die."

"What the fuck… My death is common knowledge… But wait, that's not a wrong assumption… It all adds up now. Why you all never came to Earth… My disappearance must have implied my death… What about the plumbers? Why didn't they come to Earth to confirm this information? What about Vilgax and Albedo… why were they waiting and preparing for me on Earth then? Weren't there also people who could track the watch… Maybe the magic Hex and Charmcaster used to conceal me… Ahh… This is all so confusing… And frustrating..."

Khyber then responds, "All I understood from that was that you were seemingly captured by someone for all this time you were thought to be dead. I can answer your question about the plumbers… They were destroyed by the Incurseans as their first step in universal domination. The Incurseans were quick to take advantage of your death. They quickly hit the plumbers' stations and took them out. Essentially, most plumbers were wiped out with the exception of a few who are in hiding."

"So, the plumbers too huh? Was my presence really that significant to the universe? I guess I should say as expected from me… But still, damn it… Heh, I just realized something. Vilgax and Albedo were on Earth because they believed that I was still alive despite what was commonly known. It's just like Vilgax said… How ironic that they were the ones to still believe in my survival… Anyways, back to our original topic. What are you planning?"

Dr. Psychobos who was silent, responds this time, "Why should I say anything to you, inferior being? You can't comprehend the plans of one with a superior intellect such as mine. You don't stand a chance in what's to come anyways."

I approach him and coat my arm with crystal, then I turn it into a sword. I then point it to his brain and begin speaking, "Listen here, don't talk to me as if you're superior when it's you that's stuck in crystal and is defeated. Either you start speaking or I'll just kill you and try Khyber next or maybe I'll just go to the Incursions and ask them what's going on. Don't think that I'll hesitate to dispose of you if you're useless to me."

He looks at me with a hint of fear and talks, "Fine, I'll talk. Even with your human mind's limited capacity, surely you could piece together that I was making a serum, right? Well, this serum has the ability to control minds. Well, it's more heavily influence than fully control, but that is enough when dealing with semi-mindless, inferior beings.

I am making this serum to control the mutated To'kustars that reside in the Null void. We are working with the Incurseans towards universal domination. So, Malware was tasked to find what I need, and Khyber was there to protect me and collect any predator DNA that he wants to add to the Nemetrix."

I then retract my sword and start pacing around the room while thinking, 'One thing leads to another, that leads to another… Let me break down the info that I got. These three are working with the Incurseans and their goal is universal domination… The plumbers are mostly gone… Multiple planets must have fallen to the Incurseans, and apparently, I'm dead. Also, they're working on mind control juice because why not… What a headache… All right, I don't need these three anymore so time to eliminate them first.'

I ask the Dr. if he's done working on the serum and he says that the Incurseans have an experimental version of it that they could complete on their own and could be used on people. Satisfied with the information, I extend my hand into a crystal sword again and I stab Dr. Psychobos right through the shell on his head and right into his brain. With a small scream, he goes lifeless and is now dead.

I then walk towards Khyber and cut his head off despite his attempts on making a deal to spare his life. 'Two down, one to go.' I then walk towards the frozen and encased Malware and transform into Echo Echo. I then slam the symbol on my chest and transform into Ultimate Echo Echo.

I then send two of my sonic discs to him. They then multiply and now, he's surrounded by sonic discs. I then utter two words, "Sonic doom" With that, the discs release ultrasonic waves that encase him in a ball of soundwaves. After a few seconds, I stop, as there's nothing left of Malware anymore.

"It's over… I got your revenge Azmuth… You can rest now, knowing that they won't be able to get anyone else ever again…"
