77 On the rock bottom - II

She was going to be okay. Everything is going to be okay.

She was going to be alright.

Joyce slowly opened her eyes, returning to the feeling of the water still going on over her head when all of a sudden when it stopped.

She chuckled, "I think we just emptied the water tank."

"Not likely. The water shuts off after 40 minutes of continuous use." Adrian answered with his lips against her head. "It was 20 minutes earlier, but mother and Margaret rebelled."

Joyce could not help She could actually believe that happened.

Still wet to the bone with their clothes, clinging on to each other, Joyce realized the situation she was in.

"I think I just hit my rock bottom." it physically hurt to admit it to herself, much less out loud to someone else. She had hit hard rock bottom.
