279 Gone girl - I

A moan left her body when she regained consciousness. Her head felt heavy, like someone had placed a 1000 kg weight on it.

She squeezed her eyes close in a grimace before attempting to open them. Darkness, she was surrounded by it. Not even speak a flight around her that would help her make sense about what was around her.

It was complete and total darkness.

What the hell is going on?

Joyce set up and pulled her needs to her chest before placing her head on them and then wrapping her hands around her head in an attempt to decrease the pain. It hurt.

Kidnapped. The word rang in her mind.

She had been hurt.

She cried out in pain when she became even more apparent. It was not decreasing.

Where the hell was she?

If the situation was not scaring Joyce enough, it was the darkness that did the job completely. Not being able to see was the scariest part of it all.

She sniffed before grimacing again. It hurt like hell.
