Adrian could sometimes act like a child. It was unbelievable to her. But he would sometimes literally be a teenager in front of her rather than being a grown man who was the CEO and leading one of the most dangerous criminal organizations anyone has ever seen.

When he was gone in a flash, after finishing his food, Joyce stared at his departing back before turning away and looking at her food.

He did not look at her, even once and did not even kiss her. Adrian always makes sure to tell her goodbye and kiss her before leaving.

Maybe he did not leave the house. That was a possibility. Maybe he was just here, but then again, as soon as he left for breakfast, he would always kiss her goodbye.

Daphne made sure to put something else on her, play it again, understand, even put something on Margaret's. Just left quickly, something about taking more of Adrian's work load.
