259 An important call - II

It was 11 in the night. Since it was a work day tomorrow, she considered if she had even put her phone on sleep focus. It might be someone just randomly calling her. Why would someone important call her at this time? Most of the important people she knew lived in the same house as she did, and they would simply just come to her room.

Joyce decided not picking it up before deciding against which she was thinking. She had to take a chance.

Joyce got out of the makeshift bed that she had made. The phone was on the bedside table where the charger is plugged in. The moment you look at the screen command voice recognised Number instantly.

It was Declan's number.

Her eyes buldged out.

Almost for a second, Joyce considered reciting his number in her mind. What is it with him? Why the hell was he calling her?

It had been almost a year or something since the last time he had called.

"Why.." she wondered and before she even picked up the phone her screen turned to blank again.
