165 Out of the Blue

A meeting between David and Greg sooner or later was inevitable. Not only did they live in the same neighborhood, but David worked for his mother, after all, at their house. In truth, it was almost a miracle that so far there had not been any friction between them.

The day was rather gloomy and gray. Even the hot summer sometimes has days like this, which makes almost everyone happy. David was glad that the chill and the announcement of rain came now, not a week earlier, so that the spray had time to be absorbed by the plants and had already begun to work. Two more weeks and he would be able to calmly move on to the second stage of preparing the soil for the rosarium.

He had just finished inspecting the site and was approaching the wicket and his bike parked nearby when his way was blocked by Greg.

"Are you going to disappear again without saying a word to me?"
