58 Disturbing Declaration

The young man with dark hair froze in mid-stretch. His eyes widened.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

David was still completely baffled by the sight of the boy who had accosted him a few days ago with a little too much intensity. He was sure he would never see him again in his life, meanwhile Greg stood before him in all his glory and spoke to him in Greg's voice.

"I asked, what are you doing here?" Greg asked in a sharper tone squinting his eyes.

"I'm working," croaked David. "Mrs. Kaya wants us to arrange a garden for her..."

"For you it's Mrs. Matysiak. Address my mother with respect."

"Your..."

Oh shit! Damnation to the square! Did this mean that David and his father would work indirectly for Greg? The situation presented itself in an overly... bizarre way.
