Chapter 1: Saving a Damsel in Distress

It all started on a summer day, in a village deep in Eagle Mountain. This mountain was part of a mountain range that spreads across thousands of meters and was part of the west border of the Sun Empire.

The village was not a small village, but a rather large and bustling one. The streets were filled with people traveling, buying, trading, and moving on with their lives. But at this moment of tranquility, at the entrance of the red light district, there was a rather large commotion.

"HEY! Get that girl back here!" A rather nasty old man in rich garments yelled and pointed at a panicking girl running with all of her might. However, her luck was rather bad and she was caught not to long afterwards by the old man's guards.

"Let go of me! You can't do this! You're breaking regulations here!" The girl yelled at the old man. Hearing this the old man throws his head back in laughter as if her heard a joke. "Regulations? What regulations can a dog place like this have? I think you are just trying to escape! If it wasn't for you! None of the other girls could have escaped!" He said and smacked her harshly across the face.

A bit dizzy from the smack, she grits her teeth and shakes her head to remain conscious and glares at the old man and starts to bicker.

At one of the brothel houses, in a room that looked over the red light district gate sat a rather pretty youth with one arm on a service girls waist. "Young master, you aren't paying attention to me anymore. I am rather sad." The service girl said with a coquettish voice and lightly hits the youth's chest. The youth looks at the service girls round watery eyes and pinches her small nose. Laughing lightly and says "O' Is my Lily sad? This young master was just thinking rather should I be a hero saving a damsel in distress or not to impress you." Lily's eyes brighten and looks down at the girl down below that was dressed in tatters and rather pitied her.

"Then this servant would like to see how master can be a hero" Lily replies and jumps off of the youth's laps. "Then I would like a kiss from you as a reward afterwards." The youth said and pecks her on the cheek and jumps down immediately from the balcony.

Landing in the middle of the encirclement of the audience gathered to watch the show, the youth smiles deviously and interrupts the two bickering people. Angry, the old man yells loudly "Who are you!?" Displeased at the man's yelling the smile disappears and with a frown the youth says harshly "This young master was just wondering who would disrupt the regulations on this fine evening, it turns out to be a toad, that doesn't know his place."

Laughter bursts out from the crowd at the youths words and starts to talk among themselves at how dumb this old man was to cause such a commotion in the red light district. The old man's face turns red from embarrassment and looks at the youth. Opening his mouth to yell at the youngster on not knowing how to respect his elderly he immediately stops after seeing the clothing on the youth. Although simple and elegant, the youth was wearing a green garment and at the end of the sleeves, there was fine embroider of bamboo leaves just showing how much work was actually put into it. Gritting his teeth the old man tries to curry favor with the youth instead.

"This old one is rather blind and yelled out mistakenly, I do apologize. But it was this girl that was in the wrong and I only hope that you don't judge me wrong." Hearing this, the girl glares at the old man harshly. "Still not letting me go!?" The girl yells and with her internal strength, she overthrows both the guards holding her in place. The guards that were flipped were shocked and the old man in front of her was also shocked with a blank look.

After flipping them she walks quickly to the youths side and stands behind him like a servant would to her master. "Master, all of the girls were released back to their families and compensated." The girl quietly whispers to the youth so that only both of them could hear it. The youth nods and looks at the gate guards. "Looks like I have to ask my brother to retrain the guards on the gate since they still don't know the rules yet."

Hearing this, the gate guards starts sweating at their backs cursing the youth inside. This young master, clearly it was their young master that said not to do anything until the signal was given, but there was no signal from their young master and now he is threatening them into retraining?! But they wouldn't risk it, so immediately they came over to arrest the old man and his guards. Flabbergasted and not knowing what's going on, he yells frantically. "Let me go! What did I do wrong? I was just trying to capture my servant and sell her! Let go!"

Hearing this all the spectators sigh at the old man.

"Looks like this person doesn't know the regulations of the red light district in this village."

"Most likely not. If he knew, he wouldn't have came here."

"If only he knew, that the girls here do this out of will and no one is to forcefully sell unwilling people here, this wouldn't have happened!"

Everyone sighed again and dispersed after the commotion was settled.
