1 Chapter one THE WAR AT HAND.

"Father I can manage with the two. Just give me a chance. Had there ever being a time I had disappointed you?"I questioned him finally. And he shook his head in approval. Then he cleared his throat and said" there has never being a time I have won over you. I will be handing you over to one of my most trusted men. Please do look after yourself. You know after six months is your coronation as a queen"."Yes father. Thank you, thank you". Then a frown settles on his face."Father I'll be back before you know it. Besides you know that has always being my dream if not that it's impossible for a princess. But now I have the chance why don't you support me whole heartedly, please?" I asked and gave him a pleading look."Cleopatra it's not that I don't support you with all my heart. It's just that I already miss you. You know ever since your mother died, you've been my greatest motivation in ruling this kingdom. You even inspired me more when you chose to join me in all the meetings. But your sisters are busy with themselves they don't care about me"."Don't say such father , I know they really care about you, infact care is an understatement for what they hold for you in their hearts. It's just that I didn't give that chance, cause I promised mother to take care of you after her demise"."I know. Now why don't you go to bed, okay".I let out a yawn and started to take my leave. Before a question paused me in my tracks."Father what will you tell the people about my leaving?" I asked with a frown settled on my face."Oh, I would tell them you travelled to the next kingdom, to meet your aunt for six or seven months as you have to be fully prepared for the coronation at hand".He said non-challantly. As if it were a piece of cake convincing them. Then we bidded each other good night and I left for my room to sleep. I let a yawn before I laid to sleep.
