57 So Call Me Baby

Rose13 had been playing so much of the game that some of her viewers even became concerned asking her if she was alright playing this long. Some even donated money to tell her that she needed to rest but she ignored them and continued. She had fought a hard and long road to get to her current placement in the game but it was outshined by Kanzaki once more who hadn't lost a single match.

It was so bad that Rose13 had even begun biting her nails when she thought about what she was going to do to counter the situation. If Kanzaki continued to win without losing then she would have no chance of catching up which made her mad.

'I miss you.' Rose13 thought in both anger and sadness as she looked at her Cord screen. There were two accounts with one being Rose13 and the other saying Fria57. They were both her personal accounts one was for streaming and the other was for her personal life.

Rose13 or otherwise known as Fria clicked on her Fria account and began reading through her messages with Kanzaki. She had begun missing him more and more as the days went by. The men that she kept messing with not only on her stream but online weren't doing it for her. She missed the genuine interaction with Kanzaki and how he was always thoughtful of her with no other thoughts in mind.

She had been driven so far down the rabbit hole that she even had begun sending messages to him despite her being blocked on his account. Every time she would send a message the error message would pop up alongside it saying she was blocked which hit like a ton of bricks each and every time.

This only fueled her desire to get better at the game so that she might have a chance to play with or against him. She was craving for some kind of interaction whether that be good or bad at this point she didn't care.

At some point in the night like some kind of angel sent from above, she got a message from a representative at Witch that she had been invited to a streamer event for the game. Not only that she was chosen as one of the captains of the team which meant she could choose the streamers she wanted to be on her team.

Fria's first thought was to get Kanzaki on her team but she knew that he wasn't a partner on Witch yet. Just to be sure she asked the representative if she could have Kanzaki and surprisingly they said yes. They said that not even an hour ago he had become a Witch partner and been invited to the event.

At this news Fria had a huge smile as she finally saw a chance to connect with Kanzaki again, 'This might finally be my chance!' Fria thought in happiness. She wasn't going to waste this chance to get close and repair the relationship that she had broken so badly in the past.

With this knowledge, she chose Kanzaki as one of her partners before choosing the rest. Since she was one of the first people they told due to her popularity she was able to get every single one of the streamers she wanted.

Either way, she would have been able to get them whether that was due to her amazing voice or her cult-like following anyone would kill for a chance to collab with her or spend an event with her.

'See you soon Kanzaki~' Fria thought with a smile as she closed her computer and got ready for bed. The next few days would be interesting to say the least.

That next morning Selena had woken up early because she got a very good call from one of the people she knew in the police force, or to be exact she paid them off. She asked them to give her every ounce of information they could get on Landon and his situation.

Apparently, he had just admitted to every kidnapping they accused him of and even accepted the charges he had against him due to what happened with Selena and Kanzaki. Selena knew this would happen since there was too much evidence against him. If he took the plea of saying he was guilty then his time would be reduced significantly.

However, Selena had no intention of letting Landon live his life inside of the jail. He had tortured her most of her adult life and ruined the life of many others. He deserved nothing but an agonizing death for what he had done and she planned to make that happen.

In front of the jail where Landon was now being held Selena arrived early in the morning after getting ready in her apartment. She had cleared her entire schedule for the day besides her nightly adventure to Kanzaki's so she could make sure she did what she came there to do properly.

When Selena walked into the police station surprisingly the guard already knew why she was there and opened the door for her letting her inside. She followed behind the man until she reached a one-person cell at the back of the station.

Inside this cell, there was Landon laying on his bed reading a book not looking at who just arrived at his cell. He thought it was the people delivering food so he just replied with, "Leave it at the window I will get it in a second." Landon said arrogantly as he continued to read.

However, he quickly put the book down when he heard Selena's voice. "Sadly you won't be getting a last meal." Selena said as she walked into his cell.

"You?!" Landon said in surprise when he heard Selena walk in. He planned on getting angry at her and causing a ruckus since he would be in jail for so long but when he saw her eyes he immediately became afraid.
