Forsaken Faith: Rise of the Vigilantes
They promised salvation, but salvation never came. We clung to their words like desperate souls lost in the abyss, but they were hollow, echoing with empty promises.
In their proclamations, they preached equality for all, a utopia where each of us stood on level ground. Yet, the reality was starkly different; privilege reigned, and the chasm between the powerful and the powerless grew ever wider.
With unwavering faith, we believed, but belief alone could not move mountains. Our hope turned to despair as the world remained unchanged, as though our prayers vanished into the void.
They spoke of forgiveness for the innocent, but the guilty roamed free, unburdened by their sins. The notion of justice was a cruel joke, a phantom that danced just beyond our reach.
They swore to punish the evildoers, but they too remained untouched, their malevolence hidden behind veils of power and corruption. The darkness that plagued our land persisted, unfazed by empty threats.
And so, when the supposed authorities failed us, when they sanctioned the massacre of our people at the whim of powerful idiots, we had no choice but to seize our destiny. We had to reclaim the justice that was denied, and the only path forward was one of blood and force.
In the shadows of despair, we became the arbiters of our own fate. With a heavy heart and an unrelenting spirit, we took up the mantle of retribution, determined to exact our own form of justice in a world that had forsaken us. It was a grim path we walked, but it was the only path we had left.
