Chapter 2: “it’s not important”

The sun rose with the beginning of new day, Malin got up early preparing what she needed for the meeting.

It was a nice warm weather so she wore light clothes nevertheless covering her entire body.

She got on her hoarse, destination to the castle just to meet the commander. During her trip she didn't stop thinking about her old memories there with Pryor and the other two…

The guards bowed at her arriving guiding her to the garden to find some solders training when they saw her they all stopped immediately to look at the walking legend whispering:

"-OMG I can't believe she is here!

-The queen is walking next to meet… I can't believe my eyes…pinch me.

-She looks really tough as they said.

-Yeah you shouldn't mess with her."

An arrogant smirk took her way on her lips till one of them decided to ruin the moment.

"-Isn't she Carol's daughter…Carol Chace?

-Yeah no wonder she have the best skills; she learnt from the master himself or talent run in the family blood."

With that she stopped in front of them, with a burning gaze drifting their soul, at that moment they knew they screwed up.

"Carol maybe my father, but skills and talent are something you learn and sacrifice a lot in return to have... So, if you want people to look up at you and treasure you, make yourself valuable first and don't rely too on your parents name because you will end dying as nobody."

The two men felt extremely embarrassed but she added:

"For your information the commander was the reason I reached that point in my life and I see that you can learn a lot from him and devote your time to practice more instead of gossiping around."

They all nod in agreement and thanked her for her precious piece of advice. She then wished them a good day with a heart-warming smile.

The solders kept their eyes on her till she disappeared from their sight.

"-oh Man; these was unexpected!

-like yeah! How someone could be scary and adorable at the same time?

-And who thought the old guy was the reason behind her success?

-I guess we better go back training or we are doomed"

They all hummed in agreement and went back to work.

"-the last door on your left Miss Chace, the commander will be with you soon"

She thanked the guard and went to the meeting room, the old wooden door cracked at her slight push making unnoticeable creaking voice.

Once her stepped inside the room her eyes met by most captive living artwork: a young man in his late teens standing with his palm holding his chin, while looking through the window admiring the captive open sight in front of him.

She tilted her head to get a better view at his unrealistic features, she couldn't took her eyes away from his white snow ,soft and delicate skin that looked like flower petals or his rosy cheeks that the sun itself took the opportunity to kiss them adding his fluffy white hair like a pile of soft cotton that she wanted so badly to caress but she shook that weird thought out of her head.

The light windy breeze moved it slightly to show his fine eyebrows that made him look like a walking angel. Overall his attire was very elegant yet simple, he looked more likeable. But the most captive thing about him were his eyes, his baby blue eyes made a huge spin of memories run through her head : her mum with the same hair color and the same pair of sky color eyes.

While she was lost in her thoughts the young boy notice her presence and welcomed her with a warm smile and a silky smooth voice.

"-Hi" She then realized that she was staring at him like a weirdo and put on back her poker face saluting him back trying to sound cool and act normal.

He then stood up straight showing his full graceful height; his broad shoulders yet a slim toned body.

"-sorry I guess I barged into the wrong room."

Before she could turn her way back he reassured her:

"-No Miss Chace, you are in the right room."

She looked at him up and down then asked him with a confused face "-then… Who are you sir?"

-it's not important."
