Remember You
"Good Night Hyung," said Jungkook.
Jimin smiled and silently went to his bedroom down the hall. He closed the door and sat on his bed. Thoughts of what had happened to his family and regretful that he did such a thing for money that he could've just asked for, he started to cry.
"I must tell Jungkook the truth, he needs to know what actually happened that day those few summers ago." Jimin thought to himself.
He sat there for a few minutes tears ran down his cheeks. "Mother, Father, Yuna, Junghyun. I'm so sorry! I love you! I miss you!" He sobbed. He cried until his tears dried up and there was nothing else left, until he fell asleep.
The next morning Jimin woke with red puffy eyes. He stood up and stretched before completely getting out of bed. He went into his bathroom and took a shower. And after went downstairs and sat at the kitchen counter looking at his phone and pondering about how he should tell Jungkook the hard and sad truth about what really happened those few summers ago, the case of the Park family massacre.
Jungkook woke up to his phone ringing.
"Hello?" He said tiredly.
"Hey Kookie, it's Yoongi, how've you been?" Asked Yoongi.
"Hey, hyung, I've been good, my memory is coming back faster than I thought it would. And I heard about your mother, I'm so sorry. I hope she gets better," replied Jungkook.
"Oh, thanks...and that's good, have you told Jimin yet?" Asked Yoongi curious.
"Nope, I don't know how to tell him. Maybe I'll tell him when I go downstairs after our conversation," said Jungkook.
"Good, I've been meaning to ask, how is Jimin?" Asked Yoongi.
"He's been good, I guess. He's been emotional and acting weird lately," replied Jungkook. "Besides how come you two aren't talking anymore? You two used to be inseparable when we were kids."
"An accident occured, you know what why don't you ask Jimin yourself. I have to go," said Yoongi.
"Wait, why'd you call me?" Asked Jungkook.
"I-I don't remember," replied Yoongi as he quickly hung up.
Confused and tired Jungkook got up and went to the bathroom to shower and change.
After he finished he went downstairs to the kitchen to find some breakfast. Soon after Jimin joined him.
"Jungkook..."
"Hyung..."
Jimin and Jungkook at the same time.
"Oh, sorry you can go first," said Jimin.
"No it's fine, you go," replied Jungkook.
"No, really Kookie I insist."
"Oh, okay, anyway I don't really know how to say this but...I have some good news to tell you," Jungkook paused for a couple of minutes to take a few breaths. "My memory is almost completely back," he quickly said. "I'm remembering a lot, I remember you."
"Jungkook! That's amazing. This is great news, I'm so happy for you! We should celebrate!"
"Um, sure," replied Jungkook.
"How 'bout we go out for some dinner," suggested Jimin.
"Sure, can Taehyung hyung come?" Asked Jungkook.
"Sure, call him," replied Jimin.
Jungkook took his phone out from his pocket and called Taehyung.
"Hello?"
"Hey, I was wondering you wanna come over for dinner tonight, Jimin hyung and I plan on going out," replied Jungkook.
"Sure!" Said Taehyung.
"We plan to leave at around six- six thirty,"replied Jungkook.
"Great, I'll be there," said Taehyung.
"Okay, see you later," Jungkook hung up.
He went back to the kitchen to find Jimin.
"Alright hyung, he's coming."
"Good, well I don't mean to leave at such a time but I have a meeting with someone in about 20 minutes, so I have to go but I will be back in time for dinner," said Jimin as he grabbed the keys to his car.
"Ok, see you later, hyung," replied Jungkook as he sat on a stool at the counter.
Jimin texted Namjoon before starting to drive.
Jimin- Namjoon, I'm on my way. Be there in ten.
Namjoon- I'll be waiting.
Jimin- Make sure Jin hyung doesn't do anything stupid.
Namjoon- Oh don't worry my baby will be perfectly fine if he listens to me.
Jimin turned his phone off and feeling really annoyed finally arrives at Namjoon's "workplace" which is really a front business for his real business. (Mob boss of the most powerful gang in Busan, after his father died). He parked and went in. Before he could make it any further into the office the receptionist saw him and stopped him.
"Uh, sir do you have an appointment?" She asked.
Jimin looked her up and down and smiled. "Damn girl, what's your name?" Asked Jimin in a flirtatious tone. The receptionist started to blush uncontrollably. Jimin grabbed her hands and started to gently trace circles on the back of her left hand. "Yunji," she replied still staring at Jimin.
"Yunji," said a stern voice from behind Jimin.
"Y-Y-Yes sir?" She replied with a shaky voice.
"Let's not flirt with the clients," he said.
"Sorry sir," Yunji nodded and sat back down and went back to work.
Jimin looked behind him and to find Namjoon.
"Ah, Namjoonie," Jimin half smiled and went up to him.
"Uh, Jimin, shall we get to our meeting now?" Asked Namjoon as he pointed Jimin toward the private elevator going up to his office.
Once they got up to Namjoon's office the two guards left the room and stood in front of the closed office.
"Jimin, I need you to do a job for me," said Namjoon.
"What? I'm already gonna infiltrate the the other gang what more do you want?" Asked Jimin angrily.
"I need you to spy on Jin hyung for me," replied Namjoon.
Silence...
"WHAT?!? Why can't you do it yourself?" Replied Jimin annoyed.
"Because, Jin hyung will notice and I don't wanna loose him, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I love him."
Jimin stared at Namjoon in disbelief.
"Fine, as long as you do something for me in return."
"Anything you want," replied Namjoon.
"Great," Jimin smirked and left.
Meanwhile back at the mansion Jungkook was alone and bored. He started to explore his phone since he hadn't really gotten a chance after his discharge from the hospital. He found an unfamiliar number with the name Soo-Min💖, in his contacts. Curious he hit call.
She picked up.
"Hello?"
Jungkook sat there in silence.
"Anyone there, hello?" Said Soo-Min again before she hung up.
Jungkook silently sat there. He called Yoongi.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Yoongi hyung have you ever heard of a girl named Soo-Min?" Asked Jungkook.
"Yeah, of course she's your ex girlfriend," replied Yoongi. "I'm also pretty sure she's Jimin's soon to be fiancée."
Jungkook frowned and placed his phone on the counter, frustrated and sad.
