"Hyung, when can I take him home?" Asked Jimin.

"Well, you should be able to take him home in about a day maybe two, he seems to be recovering quite fast but we need to keep him under observation in case something goes wrong," replied Jin.

"What do you mean, "in case something goes wrong,"" asked Jimin.

"Well you see when we were working on him that day after the accident he had internal bleeding, a few broken bones, many cuts and bruises, a concussion and some brain damage, also his body temperature was abnormally high. In fact I'm actually surprised he survived, many others at his age would've died," Jin said bluntly.

"What are you trying to say?" replied Jimin getting frustrated but still very concerned.

"What I'm saying is that Jungkook is very lucky to be alive," replied Jin.

"Okay, so?" asked Jimin.

"It's nothing, you should really go home, you haven't gotten much sleep in the past year, we will watch over Jungkook and I promise nothing will happen to him."

"No, I can't leave him, he just woke and I really need to be here for him," replied Jimin. "Especially now that it's only us."

"Jimin, as your family doctor and as your friend, I am prescribing you to go home and get lots of sleep," Jin said practically begging.

"Fine, but I need to borrow your car, mine is totaled and the other ones are at the house," he said a little annoyed.

"Sure, here," said Jin handing him his keys.

Jimin went out the double doors and to the elevators. He hit the down button and waited a few minutes then the doors opened and he got on. He pushed the button for lobby. As he waited, the elevator went down, it stopped on another floor and a guy got on. Not really paying attention Jimin stood there silently on his phone contemplating life. As the elevator kept going down the guy realized who Jimin was.

"Jimin? Is that you?" He asked.

Jimin looked up confused. "Yoongi hyung?" Replied Jimin.

"Yeah, I thought it was you," said Yoongi.

Jimin and Yoongi used to be together before a very avoidable incident that happened between their two families. Jimin's father and Yoongi's father were business partners who owned the biggest companies in Busan and Daegu, but some business deal went awry and Jimin's father had found some irregularities in the company's financials and Yoongi's father was blamed for it. He was put on trial for fraud and embezzlement and found guilty, he had been sentenced to 25 to 30 years in prison. Yoongi and Jimin never spoke again.

"Wow, it's been a while, how've you been?" Asked Jimin.

"Yeah it has, I've been well, you?" Replied Yoongi.

"I've had better days, but fine," replied Jimin. "So why are you here."

"My mother," replied Yoongi.

"Oh, is she alright?" Asked Jimin.

"She has cancer, stage four, doctors say she only has about a month or two," replied Yoongi.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," said Jimin.

"Thanks, why are you here?" Asked Yoongi.

"Jungkook, he just woke up," replied Jimin.

"What happened? Is he alright?" Asked Yoongi.

"Car accident, he's been in a coma for the past couple of years, they say it's a miracle he survived," replied Jimin.

"Well I hope he's okay," replied Yoongi.

The elevator finally reached the lobby. Jimin and Yoongi awkwardly got off and went there separate ways. Jimin went out to the parking garage and found Jin's car. He got in and drove home. When he got to the large iron gates, he parked and went into the double doors of the mansion that was left to him and his brother. He went straight into the living room and laid down on the sofa falling asleep right away.

"Jungkook! No!" Yelled Jimin reaching out to his dying brother.

"It's okay! I remember now!" Replied Jungkook.

"What? What did you remember?" Asked Jimin.

"I remember-" before Jungkook could answer Jimin woke up. "Ah Shit! Why Jungkook. All you gotta say is what you remember that's all!" Jimin thought to himself.

His phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Jimin, it's Jin, you'll be able to take Jungkook home tomorrow," he replied.

"Alright, thanks," Jimin hung up and went back to sleep.

The next morning Jimin woke up, ate breakfast and did his normal morning routine. At around 8:30a.m he got in his car and went to the hospital. He got to the hospital at around 9:00. He parked and went up to Jungkook's room. He was wide awake.

"Good Morning, Jungkook," said Jimin as he entered his room. Jungkook looked up and gave Jimin a half smile.

"Morning, Hyung," said Jungkook.

"Did you sleep well?" Asked Jimin.

"Yeah, I did," replied Jungkook. "But I really need to get something off my chest."

"Yeah? What is it?" Asked Jimin.

"I need to tell you something, I think it's really important you know, I remember one thing about you that's familiar before I went into the coma, I remember-" before he could finish Jin came barging in.

"Hey, guys," he said. "Jungkook you ready to be discharged?"

"Ah good god!" Yelled Jimin annoyed.

"Yeah, I guess," replied Jungkook. Jin signed the discharge papers then gave them to Jimin who also had to sign.

"Alright, you're all set, you can get dressed and go home," said Jin smiling as he left.

Jungkook looked at Jimin.

"Hyung, the last thing I remember was hearing your voice, calling out to me, telling me to keep going," said Jungkook before he disappeared into the bathroom to change. Jimin stood there in silence, unable to talk.

"Jungkook, you remember me, Okay only my voice but you remember something at least." Jimin thought to himself as he stood outside of the door waiting. "We will figure this out Kookie, I promise, we will figure out a way to help you remember."
