Chapter 53

"Don't ever leave me like that," I say holding her hand and she smiles at Oliver.

"Hi baby," she whispers softly to him as she places him on her chest, holding him close, as she closes her eyes.

"I just want to go home," she says and I smile to myself.

Home. We were going to go home.

Bethany's pov.

"Can I hold him?" Rachel asks excitedly as she says at Oli.

A week had flown by since I gave birth to Oli and I was allowed to go home to rest. Rest meant, sitting on the couch and letting everyone work for me.

A few months before Oli was born, Jaxon and I had moved out of the pack house. We had moved into the house adjacent to the pack house. Rachel and Kyle had moved in with us. So had Ryan and Chloe.

Rachel and Chloe were sitting next to me on the couch as Jaxon cooked food with the boys in the kitchen.

"Maybe later," I smile at her as I hold him close to myself.
