"Dude you are so lucky bro," Isaiah whispered," Your family has one of the easiest and rarest ways to find a soulmate you should be happy." Ah yes, the fated soulmate book. I wish I had to do the work then it would be more of a surprise. For as long as I can remember I've always been told that. Don't be sad at least you don't have to wait so long they say. It's a rare gifted from the goddess herself they say. Why are you so ungrateful? Jayden be happier.

"Dude!" Isaiah yelled at me, hitting my arm. He sighed "Come on get out of your head bro. Everything is gonna be just fine." he said slinging an arm around my shoulder as I stood up.

"Yeah I know I guess I'm just scared."I sighed. Isaiah gave me a look of understanding before nodding.

"It's gonna be alright I promise. And Hey my mom will take you both in if something happens." He's talking about me and my soulmate. I find out who it is tonight at midnight. I have a feeling that it's going to be Alice but I just don't know. I've been eighteen for three months now and everything is drawing me to her. I'm just scared of what my parents are going to say. They hate the wards for some reason and I just don't want them to be disappointed when it's not Maclyn.

"Alright! Damn bro stop internal monologuing if you wanna talk about it just say so!!" Isaiah yelled as he gripped my shoulders, stopping us from walking to our next class.

"We'll talk later okay I promise but right now my brain is a pile of anxious shit." I said, lowering my voice so others can't hear me."let's just get to class okay?" I asked continuing our walk to class.

1:00 pm

After I ran into Alice she was the only thing on my mind. I just can't stop thinking about her. From the strange way her hair curls to her beautiful honey eyes. To the way, her skin is a beautiful mix of colors, With some places being a gorgeous sun-kissed color and others almost an ivory color.

"Bro Stop daydreaming about her before you start drooling!" Isaiah slammed his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm not drooling!" I told him.

"You totally are!" He said wrapping his arm around me.

"Just shut up" I shoved Isaiah off of me.

"Uh Oh trouble is waving you over dude"

"You should stop calling Maclyn that before she hears you."

"Man shes walking this way."

"What?" I asked Isaiah then grabbed my face and made me look up and sure enough, Maclyn was walking over and her minions were right behind her.

"Oh, Maclyn what a lovely surprise." I greeted, She said nothing just came over and hugged me.

"No happy birthday?" She asked me.

"Nope not yet your birthday isn't till tomorrow." I told her.

She sneered and sighed, "Whatever, Come here Stella" Stella pranced her way to Maclyn, I've always disliked Stella she just is too fake.

"Tell him what you told me." Maclyn demanded

"Right," Stella nodded," So There's this thing and it's really wired it's like having two soulmates. Its something like second chance soulmates, so basically you can fall in love with them and they can become your true soulmate." She finished.

"Isn't that like really horrible?" Maclyn asked

"No why would it be horrible?" I asked her

"Because if you fall in love with your second chance soulmate I could be replaced!" Maclyn Cried out grabbing my shoulders. I grabbed her hands and placed them beside her.

"Okay well, this was a good talk me and Jayden have to go now." Isaiah told her trying to get us out of here.

"What are you talking about?" Maclyn asked us

"We have to leave early to get ready for the soulmate ceremony later." Isaiah reminded her.

"Oh Okay, well have fun I guess." Maclyn told us as we walked off.
