Before Lovers

Have you ever seen someone and had the strangest feeling you've met before? When Paul notices a handsome man watching him on the bus, he's a little annoyed. “I nod and move to pick up my handbag, but Charlie catches my arm and pulls me to him. ‘You know I love you, don’t you?’ he says, and his voice is so tender. We kiss and it’s like a burst of passion amidst the chaos. I feel safe in his arms, secure and beyond the reach of anything that would harm me.
