Chapter 24

"That's enough..." A cold voice sounded.

Akira turned around and saw Sona looking at him with a trace of indifference.

"I don't know why you're doing this, but you'd better stop here." Sona's voice had traces of scolding, as if she were disciplining a young devil who didn't know about the world.

Akira smiled dismissively, "Isn't that a bit hypocritical? You waited for me to beat up all the devils, only to show up at the end?"

He knew that his demon power was not strong enough to trap Diodora and Sona.

Sona had a stern expression as she said, "First I ensured the safety of those who are weaker."

In fact, there was no one else in the vicinity except for Akira, Diodora and Sona.

It turned out that she actually led the other devils out of this place.

"I think you're right." Akira said with a smile.

In his mind, he was calculating if what he had done a few minutes ago was enough to earn a good score with the system.

Looking at Sona, he said, "You know? Initially, I didn't want to get involved with you, but now that you're here in front of me, tsk!"

"What do you mean, by not getting involved with me?" Sona was confused.

"It's no big deal. You just have to know that I'm going to beat you up since you didn't leave with the others."

Sona was slightly surprised by Akira's speed, but quickly managed to react to his attack.

A huge water barrier appeared beside her, protecting her from Akira's punch.

Akira's fist slammed heavily against the water barrier.

Akira seeing that his attack had failed, disappeared from where he was, only to return to Diodora's side who was still dropped to the ground.

'Her reaction time is incredible!'

"I can see that you are a reincarnated devil, and even though I don't like to say it, I can feel that your demon energy is not as strong as mine, so it's impossible for you to hit me."

Although the tone she said those words was calm, it was still full of confidence.

"Is that so?" Akira took a step forward. The atmosphere of the place seemed to have changed but it was imperceptible to Sona.

Sona frowned as she saw Akira's confident looks.

"Let's see how you do against it."

After Akira's words came out, the aura around his body seemed to increase tremendously, to the point where it was leaking out into the surroundings.

"What are you doing?" Sona frowned.

The corners of Akira's mouth twitched and his smile turned cold, "I'll give you a hint, this attack can kill you if you don't use all your strength to defend yourself."

The atmosphere around changed completely, and it was now visible to everyone who was still in the city.

"Come, Parinayakaratana!"

One of the floating spheres on Akira's back quickly disappeared.

At this moment in front of Sona, the sphere reappeared.

"That speed!" She couldn't think for long, gathering all her strength, she made a huge water barrier that protected her entire body. She didn't dare underestimate the enemy's attack, especially when he said she could be killed by such an attack.

Soon the flowing sphere seemed to glow strongly.

The real estate around where they were fighting had already been evaporated by the pressure of the sphere.

"That..." Strong ripples appeared in Sona's eyes.

BOOM!

The energy-covered sphere launched itself towards Sona's barrier, as if ready to annihilate her entire existence.

On the other side, Rudiger was running fast.

"Damn! Who is the idiot who is causing so much trouble in this town? Doesn't he know that the underworld superiors are watching this place?" Rudiger gritted his teeth in anger.

The young man next to him was also angry and couldn't help but shout, "KILL! Let's kill whoever is causing trouble!"

The two stopped in mid-stride.

Seeing the terrible explosion in front of them, their throats tightened and a shiver ran down both of their spines.

Akira looked down into the huge hole where the restaurant used to be.

The power of this attack was so strong that there was nothing left but dust.

Even Diodora who was in the distance had disappeared without a trace.

The power of the dispersion was so powerful that some devils from outside the city were attracted by the enormous amount of energy evaporated.

Akira rubbed his chin and said, "She's not moving? Don't tell me she's dead?"

After a few seconds, the atmosphere returned to its usual.

Akira looked at the figure in front of him and smiled, "I warned you, right? If you don't use all your strength to defend yourself, you will die."

Sona was still standing.

Her body was riddled with wounds, and much of her clothing had been evaporated, only keeping a few pieces over her privates.

She didn't have much strength left, all she could do was continue to stand while looking with a trace of fear at the man in front of her.

Akira clapped his hands together, "You are really strong, you managed to survive my strongest attack. If you can make it out alive today, maybe you can achieve your dream."

To avoid killing her, he had weakened some of his attack, using only about fifty percent of his total power.

After all, he knew that if he killed Sona, he would probably die at the hands of that older sister of her.

Still, he still had to praise Sona, surviving an attack like that, definitely few could do that. Even he would die if he received this attack.

Unfortunately, he couldn't get this ability whenever he wanted to, otherwise he could only spam this ability when he encountered someone stronger than him.

Sona's face turned pale, and she spat a bit of blood on the ground.

However, she still refused to fall and endured all the pain with strength.

Akira was simply too strong, but there was something she could not understand.

How had Rias defeated him?

Was there something she didn't know?

Moreover, how did he seem to know about her dream?

As she thought about this, her eyes grew more serious.

This was the strongest enemy she had ever faced. She absolutely could not show weakness.

"If I wanted to I could kill you the moment you took that potion." Akira said calmly as he looked at Sona dripping Phoenix Tears on her body.

Sona didn't answer Akira, she knew he was right, but she was also curious why he decided to wait and not attack her while she was still badly wounded.

"Okay, let's go to round two!" Akira said playfully.
