CHAPTER 48… TWELVE HOURS

Timothy stared at her with a very placid look, making it hard for Raina to read his mind. Inside, he was laughing hard but outside, he folded his lower lip into his mouth and sucked on it.

The silence was starting to make Raina feel uneasy. Plus, he was staring into her eyes unblinkingly. He should just speak so she could know what her next move would be.

It was not that she loved him. Far from it. She had plans and marrying him was the only way to get things done. No matter what, she had to get him to marry her, even if it meant blackmailing him with his daughter and wife.

She did not care…

Timothy did not say anything to her for a very long time. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes seemed like hours to the impatient Raina before him.

He finally coughed and said, "What exactly are you planning by asking me to marry you, Raina?"
