5 Ch-5

The next day Usopp woke up before the sun had risen as he felt the soft curvaceous body of the woman who was wrapped with him inside the blanket. Hearing her delicate breaths as she exhaled them onto his chest made him want to tighten his hug and so he did.

"Mhmm" Kaya worded out a sound in her sleep to indicate how comfortable she felt by his action which softened Usopp's heart. He wanted to watch her like this for a bit longer but knew that he had to wake her up now as she need to be home before sunrise otherwise people in the mansion would start stressing over the matter.

He gently patted her head that was resting on his chest a few times before Kaya finally opened her eyes. Confusion was there in her eyes before the pain in her lower region made her remember everything that happened last night between her and Usopp.

When her recollection was completed, she noticed that her eyes were staring right into Usopp's which made her heart start beating faster than it had ever in her life until now. She wanted to say so many things to him but no words seemed to come out of her mouth because of how nervous she was at the moment.

"Good morning, Kaya." Usopp said with a gentle smile on her face. Hearing the gentle voice of Usopp all her nervousness was swept away as she too wished him back with a delighted smile as she tightened her already embracing arms around him "Good morning, Usopp."

Usopp soon reminded her about her needing to arrive back at her home at the earliest if she didn't want to create unnecessary trouble for herself. Kaya agreed with him and soon got ready to leave his house. Fortunately for the two of them outside was still dark by the time they left the house as there was still half an hour left for the sunrise to occur.

The two of them soon reached the mansion and Usopp gave Kaya a piggyback ride as he climbed the tree to take her to her room. When he was in her room, he helped her down.

"Thank you," Kaya said after Usopp helped her down.

"Alright then, I better go. Take care." Usopp said as he turned around to leave.

Seeing him leave Kaya couldn't help but bit her lips and finally decided to ask him "Usopp…you'll come to meet me again right?" Just when Kaya had finished her sentence a knock was placed on her door as one of her servants said "Young Miss, it's morning. Are you awake yet?"

"Of course, I will. Rest well till then." Usopp replied in a low voice before jumping out the window to reach for the tree as he made his way out of the estate.

After finishing up with his morning training Usopp was relaxing under the shade of a tree. He was in quite a pleasant mood today, especially after what had happened between him and Kaya yesterday night.

While Usopp was recovering his breath before resuming his next set of training he saw the three kids who called him their boss rushing towards him hurriedly while shouting. "BOSS! PIRATES! THEY ARE COMING!"

The three of them shouted in unison with worry clearly written on their faces. Seeing their worry-filled expression which made them unable to speak anything with clarity Usopp helped the three of them calm down "No need to be so nervous. Take a few deep breaths to calm yourself down."

Feeling the calmness in Usopp's voice the kids became less frightened and they followed his instructions till they were finally calm enough to tell him everything in a clear and concise manner.

"Alright now, tell me exactly what the scenario is?" Usopp asks the three.

"Boss there are two ships sailing towards us and one of them has a flag that belongs to The Buggy Pirates…" One of the three said.

"Did you see how many people were on it?" Usopp asked even though he had already confirmed that it was Luffy and the others.

"There were three. Two men and one woman." The kid with the glasses said.

"Good eyes speccy!" Usopp said as he made his way towards the kid and patted his head to compliment him which made the kid smile.

"Alright, the three of you should go back to your house and relax now. As your boss, I'll take care of it myself." Usopp said.

"But boss we want to help you aswell!" The specky said.

"Yes, Boss take us with you!" The rest of the two joined in.

"There are no buts, do as I say," Usopp said with a grave voice which made the three realize that he was not in a mood for their tantrums and the three left while telling Usopp to be careful.

After a while, Usopp slowly made his way towards the coast from where Luffy and the rest were going to enter the island. He reached there sooner than the two ships docked themselves and waited for them on the beach.

"Woohoo, we've finally arrived! Let's go and eat some meat!" Luffy said as he jumped out of the boat.

"It feels good to finally be on land." Zoro said before his eyes noticed a person that was standing not very far away from them and his hands slowly went closer to the hilt of his swords "Who are you?" Zoro asked looking at the man in front of him whose body emitted an intimidating aura thanks to his well-toned body.

"Me? I'm Usopp. Someone who lives here. What about you?" Usopp answered Zoro's question.

"I'm Monkey D Luffy. I'm going to become the Pirate King!...Do you know where I can get some meat to eat? I'm hungry." Luffy said in his cheerful voice.

"Zoro, I'm going to become the strongest swordsman," Zoro said after realising that the person didn't pose any harm.

"I'm Na-…Wait! Why in the hell are you guys randomly introducing yourself to a stranger? You're pirates! Have some sense will you!" Nami lashed out at the two of them realizing what the two of them just did.

"Oops. My bad." Luffy said while laughing as he scratched the back of his head with his hand.

"Sigh…" Nami sighed seeing his hopeless self.

"There's a good restaurant in the town, want me to take you there?" Usopp said while looking at Luffy.

"There is?! Great! Let's goo!" Luffy jumped on his feet with excitement as he said and got all ready to move which made Nami even more irritated with him.
