15 Ch-15

The commotion that was caused because of the arrival of the galleon alerted Zoro, Nami, Johnny and Yosaku who were currently on the ship. Further looking at the ship they got to know that it was of the Krieg pirates.

Nami who hadn't heard much about the Krieg pirates was informed by Johnny about their infamous nature as he passed his bounty lists which contained the Krieg pirates to her to check Don Krieg's huge bounty for herself.

Nami was amazed by how much money his head was worth as her eyes almost took the shape of Berries at the moment but the next moment her eyes fell on a small part of a picture that gave her a familiar vibe. It was the bounty sheet that was placed below Don Krieg's. Nami slowly pulled out that sheet her eyes widened for a few seconds before returning to normal.

"Oh? They are the Arlong Pirates, They are also very strong and feared in these seas." Johnny said thinking that Nami was interested in it.

"Ah, is that so?" Nami said but her mind was going through many things at this moment. Spending time with Luffy and the rest she had almost forgotten about her need to go back to her home and fulfil her promise to Arlong…it all came back to her now that she saw his bounty.

"Let's go and check out what's going on there, If things go wrong we need to help Luffy and Usopp," Zoro said as he started going down Going Merry.

"Actually…I think it would be much better for me to stay here," Nami said with an awkward chuckle as she rubbed her left hand over her right upper arm, the place where the Arlong pirate's symbol was tattooed.

Observing Nami for a second Zoro said "Take care of the ship then, we'll come after sorting things out,"

Nami nodded hearing it as she saw the three of them going towards Baratie leaving the ship all to herself. "I'm sorry everyone…" Nami murmured under her breath as she turned towards Johnny and Yosaku's ship to steal their treasures.

The moment Gin and Don Krieg arrived at Baratie's dock was also the time Zoro, Johnny and Yosaku entered the crowd to look at what was happening. Their appearance was something that didn't escape Usopp's sharp eyes.

He quickly noticed that Nami was missing, which meant that she was most likely alone on the ship at the moment. He was quite familiar with how things went in the original so while the crowd's attention was drawn by Patty's punch on Gin's face Usopp used that opportunity to board the Going Merry and climbed the top of its mast to sit on the crow's nest so that Nami won't find him.

From the top, he could see what exactly was happening with Don Krieg and Sanji at the dock and he could also see the figure of Nami who was strenuously carrying the treasures of Johnny and Yosaku onboard the Going Merry.

Before long she got the ship ready to sail and cut the rope that joined the two ships as she separated the Going Merry.

With the help of the waves the ship slowly started drifting apart from the floating restaurant Baratie as Nami slowly manoeuvred it towards the direction of her home. When the direction was all set she looked back towards the restaurant where Luffy and the rest were as tears slowly started falling down from her eyes.

"Will they ever forgive me for this?...Who am I kidding? Of course, they won't," Nami ridiculed herself as the ship sailed towards the set destination.

Usopp observed Nami from above for a few seconds before shifting his attention to the commotion at Baratie because it was clearly much more interesting than looking at her sad figure.

And he was right to do so because the moment he shifted his attention to the restaurant he saw the huge galleon getting split in half. They were quite far from the restaurant by now so the resulting waves didn't affect them.

Looking at the huge galleon cut in two halves from this distance was a sight to see for Usopp. "So cool," Usopp muttered to himself as the two halves of the ship slowly started sinking. Looking at this scene Usopp started regretting the fact that he won't be able to see Mihawk with his eyes today.

He was very curious about how terrifying it felt standing near one of the seven warlords of the sea but alas, he would have to wait for more time to be able to experience this.

On the dock, Zoro had his eyes filled with fear and trepidation as he saw the figure of a man with a large sword on his back slowly drifting towards them while being seated on a chair. He swallowed his saliva as he tried hard to stop his hands from shaking.

It was the same for all the rest of the people who saw his arrival except for Luffy who clearly had no idea because today was his first time hearing about these seven warlords of the sea. Only his curiosity was piqued as he saw the arrival of this man who currently had the title of the World's strongest swordsman.

"Did you cut that ship with your sword?" Zoro asked Mihawk even though he doubted the very possibility of something like this ever happening.

"Yes, I did" Mihawk replied with his sharp eyes making Zoro hold his breath for a second because of the pressure he felt from his eyes.

"Y-You indeed are the strongest. I had been looking for you." Zoro said trying hard to fight the fear he was feeling deep in his heart.

"For what?" Mihawk asked filled with curiosity.

"A Duel. You said you're free at the moment then how about trying things out with me?" Zoro said as he readied his swords,"

"A Duel? What do you aim for with that?" Mihawk asked.

Zoro said with a scary grin as he entered into his battle stance, "Isn't that obvious, to be the strongest!"
