No rest for the weary

"So the leaf was a complete failure?"

"I gave them a false story about some village being destroyed by the great nations, for the reason behind killing their promising ninjas, I shouldn't keep them too long but with the number of villages destroyed by the five great villages it should take some time before they realize it false if they even do."

Ren was now standing on a roof in the village as his tiredness came closer to the surface, a he was about to jump to the next rooftop, he saw a shadow approaching him at an alarming speed, realizing what was happening he just sighs as he turns and heads in the direction of his training grounds.

NOw standing looking at the young woman standing before him Ren was really too tired to fight her right now.

"Look cant we do this after i get some sleep, i just came back from a mission, I need some rest."

"That's not my problem, you promised you would fight me today now here I am."

"I know that but I'm saying just wait until later, it would still be today."

"I can't I have a mission to go on in the evening."

"Oh, still working alone I see."

"you do it why can't I?"

"Look Saeko not everything I do is the right way after all having teammates could save your life."

"Tch, enough talk," she announces charging towards Ren with her sword drawn seeing her speeding towards him he sighs as he knew from the beginning talking her out of this was impossible, accepting his fate he draws his sword as he blocks all her attack rain down on him from all sides, as it takes him some effort to block them perfectly as the attack keep coming back faster and faster.

Tired of being on the defensive Ren block her last attack and before she could make another he knock her sword to the side, leaving her wide open, and as he move forward to strike he hears

"Wind release; Wind cloak"

Knowing the effect of his own creation he jumps back as Saeko suddenly disappears, reappearing a distance away.

"Oh, you can use it without any lag time now, you're making progress."

"Tch, what progress, didn't you still force me to use this as soon as you started to attack."

"That because you are not the only one making progress, but compared to four years ago your strength now is as different as night and day, and I'm sure you realize that."

Saeko holds her sword in front of her with both hands as she looks at him

she disappears as Ren expression changes to one a little bit more serious, as he swings his sword upwards in front of him

Sparks fly as his sword collides with something but wasting no time Ren bends down as a shadow slashes across above him, continuing he swings to the right side his sword now covered in wind chakra as it once again collides with something and he is pushed back a couple of feet before coming to a full stop, as he braces for another attack this goes on for three more high-speed attacks before Saeko's chakra is drained as she drops to the ground, Ren, on the other hand, is still completely fine as she didn't get to hit him even once.

" I still don't understand how you can stop those attacks at that speed."

"You need to remember that Jutsu is not perfect, you can only attack from a set direction for each attack, your first attack will always be head-on then the second one above then the third is to the left, and so on so it not to use on someone who survived it once as they would have already seen the order and any sensory ninja who is fast enough could dodge you, luckily that number is probably very low."

"Now I am leaving, I need rest," says Ren as he disappears leaving a disappointed Saeko.

As Ren reappears in his apartment, he sighs as he falls onto his bed to weary to bother with anything else, a Anbu knocks on his window.

"Ren-san, the Tsuchikage has called for you it urgent."
