Its been two days since Ren returned to the village and tried using wood release, and Ren has taken this time to practice his control over his yang release.
Currently, Ren was sitting in his normal training ground, seemingly waiting for someone.
It wasn't long after that three figures appeared standing in front of him causing him to slowly open his eyes.
"It seems you all didn't slack off with your training in my absence." says Ren.
"Of course now sensei, we trained hard." answered Gari.
"That's good, I'm sure you all already know about the upcoming chunin exams, you three will participate, and be promoted to chunin during this exam." says Ren.
"Yes." the three students answered together, clearly not surprised by Ren's decision, and Ren of course noticed this.
"It seems this is within your expectation." says Ren.
"Well sensei, with our current strength it made sense." says Kitsuchi.
"Good, then I will explain the details to you so listen closely." says Ren.
"This coming chunin exam is going to be different than the ones of the past, it will not be held in the village, but in the hidden leaf. says Ren while gauging their reactions.
Seeing that they were surprised and confused but still kept silent, and tired not showing their emotions Ren carried on.
"You three and two other teams will participate in this chunin exam in two months, all the five great villages were invited to participate, but we have no idea how many will real participate, I will be the guardian of all the participating genin, now ask your question and I'll answer them." says Ren.
"Why was this decision made by the hidden leaf they don't seem to gain anything by inviting enemies into their village?" asked Gari.

"I would say all three, but what could their deeper purpose be?" questioned Ami.
Ren sat watching Kitsuchi and Ami going deep in thought trying to figure out the purpose on their own before asking him, while Gari stood to the side, seeing this Ren just watched and waited to see if either of them would figure out the purpose.
Minutes flashed by, but Ren waited and didn't say anything, the only person who had changed their position was Gari as he was now sitting near Ren watching his teammates.
As Ren and Gari watched on Ami suddenly raised her head and stared at Ren, and the longer she stared the brighter her eyes became.
"Sensei, this wouldn't have anything to do with you, and your new bingo book entry would it?" asked Ami.
As she said that Kitsuchi next to her snapped for his thoughts and looked at Ren as well.
"Good job Ami, you came to the same conclusion as I did, beating the third Hokage disciples has weakened the image of the leaf and also put me on their radar, so they seem to be trying to get rid of me." says Ren.
"Sensei, if that the case is going to this exam the right choice to make, we would be in enemy territory, and they would surely have made plans in advance to deal with you." says Ami.

"Now, there are two months before the chunin exams, these two months will be training from morning till night, to get you ready for the chunin exams." says Ren.
