4 4-Training and Grimoire
It has been 10 years since Acier's death. And the bullying hadn't stopped. Solid and Nebra kept bothering Noelle. They tried to bother Noah as well, but since he can beat them up with his magic, they stopped. They only bullied Noelle, when Noah isn't around. Since he beat them up when they bothered Noelle.
His protection of Noelle caused her to be very attached to him, and his power had already impressed a lot of people, including some of the other royal family members.
Right now Noah is training in one of the training fields around the royal palace.
Noah, who was dripping with sweat from all the training, chanted as a slim black water slash with a purple tinge formed and cut the wooden mannequin in half.
'Ferrofluid. That's an interesting choice God' Noah thought as he condensed a ball of black liquid in the palm of his hand.
'From what I remember, Ferrofluid is supposed to be a fuel source, one that disregards gravity and only adheres to magnetic currents. Other than that, all I know is that its an irritant and since its a fuel source, it's of course flammable' Noah reviewed his knowledge about Ferrofluid
Tomorrow, Noah will be assigned a magic instructor who is supposed to teach Noah the basic of magic and take him through a five year long course about how to bring out the most of their magic power. Without a doubt Noah was already a head of most teenagers. He can already cast attacking magic, and defensive magic.

The next day Noah was seated in a study room in the royal palace, as a man with slightly curly blond hair walks in. The man had a perfect smile with white teeth. He seemed to be in his thirties, and he was picture perfect, 'I'm certain some stupid girls would fall for a guy like that' was Noah's first thought.
"Hello young master Noah my name is Calcas Bellis. I have the great honor of being your teacher for the next five years until you get your grimoire" - Calcas
"Hello Mr. Calcas, its nice to meet you" - Noah gave a courteous greeting in accord with royal etiquette.
"Alright then young master, we will start with theoretical knowledge first. This way we can perform better when we start on the practical part later" - Calcas
"can we skip right into the practical part?" - Noah
"I'm aware that you must be excited to use your magic, but we have to take it one step at a time. Don't worry young master, we all were excited to use our magic when we were young" - Calcas
'Well since everything I know about magic is self-taught and what I read in the library, so maybe this will be more beneficial than I think' - Noah decided to listen
Noah decided to listen earnestly to Calcus. The lessons at first were very boring. Everything Calcus spoke about, Noah had figured out on his own. No new knowledge was taught to him.
After the lesson was over Noah went to his room, on his way there he saw Noelle standing in front of a big portrait of their mother.
"hey Noelle. What are you doing?" - Noah
"Nothing" - Noelle was very timid, but he knew that it's all their older siblings' fault.
"How did you do on your first day of magic lessons?" - Noah
"Magic lessons? I didn't have any" - Noelle
"Really? I thought you had a class as well" - Noah
"No. I didn't have any lessons" - Noelle
Hearing that Noah decided to go straight to Nozel and ask why didn't Noelle get a teacher. Entering a room, where Nozel was sitting behind a big desk looking at paper work.
"Big bro Nozel do you have a moment?" - Noah knocked on the door.
"What do you need Noah" - Nozel stern voice responded without looking up.
"I just finished my first magic lesson today" - Noah
"I heard from Calcas that you're smart and catch on quick" - Nozel still has his eyes on the paper in front of him.
"Thank you, but I wanted to know why didn't Noelle get a teacher like me" - Noah
Nozel looked up at Noah. "Because there is no point" - Nozel
"No point in what?" - Noah
"No point in wasting the teacher's time" - Nozel said as he looked straight into Noah's eyes.
"We're not wasting their time. They're getting paid no?" - Noah didn't break eye contact
"Then there is no point in wasting our money" - Nozel
"I think we can afford to pay for one more student" - Noah
"Drop it Noah" - Nozel sounded irritated
"Why? Do you not want her to learn how to control her magic?" - Noah
Nozel said nothing to Noah. He just ignored him and went back to the paper work.
"Fine! I'll teach her myself" - Noah stormed off.
Noah went back to find Noelle. When he got there he saw solid spill water on her, while Nebra laughed.
Suddenly Nebra and Solid got hit in the back of their heads with a black water ball.
"Not funny when it happens to you is it?" - Noah started laughing at them
Nebra and Solid ran away, while Solid said somehitng about not forgetting this.
'Idiots. Ferrofluid is an eye irritant. If I didn't control my magic, you would've been screaming from the pain' Noah thought as he saw the two idiots running away.
"Are you ok Noelle?" - Noah
"I'm ok. I'm used to it now" - Noele said
"Hey this is a good time for us start training. Instead of going to change out of your wet clothes, why don't you try to control the water on your body. See if you can use magic to dry yourself" - Noah used this chance to start Noelle's training.
Noelle and Noah went to a training field, the same one Noah was training in earlier. Noelle tried to feel the magic around her, and then send her magic power to the water on her clothes. A few moments later Noelle was able to dry all the water out of her left sleeve.
"Great! Now do the other sleeve" -Noah, who was patiently watching, encouraged her more.
An hour passed, and Noelle was finally dry. "Great work Noelle!" - Noah
"Thanks!" - Noelle was happy she used magic correctly without getting scolded by her siblings, or called a failure.
Since then Noah would take the theoretical lessons with Calcas and then help Noelle train afterwards. Noah fell into a comfortable rhythm in his life, from training to lessons to helping Noelle.

*Two Years Later*
Noah and Noelle had their 12th birthday a week ago. And now Noah had started applying the theoretical knowledge to practical applications. He started taking a closer look at magical items, how they're formed and who can make them. There are runes that can be used coupled with the right amount of pure mana and the correct sequence, certain artifacts and magical devices are made.
He also learned about spell making. The spell forming part was weird, because there are two ways for a spell to form, one is hard training and the second is strong emotions. So he couldn't just understand it, he had to work for it. Of course certain basic spells are available to anyone without learning, like a simple slash, or a basic shield, of course depending on the magic type, some people might be better at certain applications of magic more than others.
The good thing about water is fluidity. Water can do many things, like attacking, defending, creation magic, and healing. The issue is Noah's magic looks like black water, but it's not just water, its almost like an oil.
No understand his magic, he had to train harder. He had already figured out how to manipulate his ferrofluid's potency long ago, but now he wanted to see if he can control his magic in a different way.
Noah's first thought was to freeze his ferrofluid. And then he thought of another idea when he saw Nebra using her magic, what if he can control ferrofluid after it evaporates.
Noelle on the other hand had gotten better at using her magic power. Though she's not the best she can be just yet. Her timid nature had her scared of her own magic power, she had subconsciously limited herself. But Noah never gave up on her. He knows how strong she'll be in the future.

*Three Years Later*
Noah and Noelle just became 15. Noah is much stronger than all the kids his age. He ran into a few kids from the other royal families, Like Mimosa, Leopold, and that annoying Kirsch (Mimosa's brother). Even as Kirsch used his grimoire, Noah was able to best him without any trouble.
Today is the day for the children from the royal families to get their grimoires. Noah was aware that he'll get the infamous four leaf grimoire.
"Hey Noah! Are you ready to get our grimoires?" - Leopold walked up to Noah
"Hey Leopold. I can't wait. I'm feeling nervous to be honest with you" - Noah
"haha. Don't be. Elder brother said that the grimoire is connected to us and our grimoire will come to us on its own, so don't worry" - Leopold
As Leopold and Noah chatted while they walked to the royal grimoire tower, Mimosa and Noelle where also talking together.
Noelle has became less shy, she also became more confident in her self. She knows that she has a great deal of power, and that she needs to work hard to control that power. She even started to challenge Noah to duels. Poor girl had it coming. She was beaten by Noah every time. This didn't hinder her progress, on the contrary, she started training harder in hopes of defeating Noah someday.
While the four of them spoke, they reached the tower. Inside the tower were countless grimoires. On a podium an old man who was waiting for them. Along with a few people from the royal families, Like Nozel Silva, Fuegoleon Vermillion, and Mimosa's father.
They were here as a way to show support. Even if Nozel seemed to not care, he noticed Noelle and Noah's growth, especially Noah. Noah was able to beat Solid and Nebra even without a grimoire, while the two had their grimoires. Nozel knew that his youngest brother is a prodigy. And even if Noelle wasn't as talented as Noah, he knew that she was very talented.
Standing in the middle of the tower, three grimoires came flying from high above. Leopold got his grimoire first, it was a fire red grimoire, while Noelles got her grimoire second and it was blue in color.
Mimosa was third and her grimoire was a dull shade of red with flowers on it.
A second after everyone got their grimoire, a bright light came from above, it was a fourth grimoire. The grimoire had gold edges that faded into purple that then got darker and darker until it became a black color in the center. The grimoire was without a doubt a very beautiful looking book. But the most shocking feature about Noah's grimoire, was the golden four leaf clover in the center.
