First fight as a zombie and path to evolution
After learning that he can evolve as a zombie and become stronger Joseph asked Godiva about how to evolve and the conditions.
[Well the best way to evolve is killing humans and consuming their life force it's fast and easy since this is the first-day humans are weak]

Joseph was surprised by the fact that how excited she was in thoughts of killing humans and so he told Godiva about his thoughts
If the only way for me to evolve is killing innocent and confused people then I rather rot in this locker room I still haven't fallen low enough to attack people just for my own sake
After hearing Joseph's remark and his determination Godiva decided to do what she was there to do in the first place to help Joseph not to force and manipulate Joseph into doing something he didn't want to.
Godiva said with a more calmed sincere expression.
[There are indeed several different ways to evolve but they are slower you would need to kill 3 humans to evolve to a full-fledged zombie but if you want to evolve without killing humans you need to kill 10 Zombie or 30 Lesser Zombie and consume their crystal cores this crystal cores will help you gain Evolution points which will fill your Evolution bar and when your Evolution bar reaches its threshold it will help you evolve to next level]
Hearing this joseph had some concerns such as if he went out to attack zombies wouldn't they find him weird and gang up on him so he asked Godiva.
[Well not necessarily they wouldn't attack you now but it will be different 10 hours from now in 10 hours zombies will start attacking each other]
Hearing that zombies would attack each other in 10 hours he asked her what she meant
[It's mainly because of how this place is compact and that there are no more living humans left inside the Tokyo dome, because of the concert nearly 50000 people were gathered here some of the lesser zombies managed to evolve to full-fledged zombies and have the power boost of becoming zombies they snowballed killing more human leading to them becoming Soldier/thief/mage rank zombies when a zombie reaches their first rank they become territorial, they will also learn that killing other zombies will help them become stronger and they also gain the ability to control lower-level zombies these changes are mainly due to zenith system, to produce stronger zombies to make it more challenging for humans to survive weeding out the weak]
Hearing that in less than 10 hours there will be an all-out zombie war outside and that there are already several rank 1 zombies outside he didn't spare any more thought and started removing the barricade as fast as he could he didn't want to die a second time becoming a stepping stone for other zombies to evolve after struggling a bit he asked Godiva to show him his stats since he felt so heavy and sluggish.

Everyone has something that they are ashamed of anyway why are my stats way lower compared to also why are intelligence and wisdom are zero to before?
[your stats are not necessarily low before the apocalypse you were a well-built man and since you were a boxer your physical stats were higher than that of an average human even now that your stats have been reduced to half because of becoming a lesser zombie your stats are still close to that of an Average Human you are stronger then other lesser zombies and the reason as to why you don't have any intelligence and wisdom is because you don't have any Mana]
well, my stats aside are you sure if I attack the zombies outside I won't be attacked by the other zombies in the vicinity?
[well not now but you have to be careful 9:30 hours from now there will be an all-out war between zombies as the evolved ones will decide where their territories will be located after that they will start gathering other zombies to use as their soldiers and attack other territories]
After completely removing the barricade and being reminded to take the crystal core of the Lesser zombie he killed Joseph took his first step towards evolution.
Joseph left the locker room and went around looking for zombies to attack, not being able to hear he couldn't find any zombies as he was checking every room in his path he reached the restrooms he saw 2 zombies 1 male the other female the female had blood all over her face indicating she died as a sacrifice while the male had bite marks on his body seeing the 2 of them inside the restroom which looked like they were making out before the apocalypse Joseph said it serves you guys right.
well considering he was a virgin and his only girlfriend was just using him it wasn't too unexpected.
After that still feeling he should be careful he closed his distance from the male zombie he pushed him into one of the stalls and locked the door behind making sure that the female zombie wouldn't meddle, as he was starting to attack he heard a giggle
[wow I didn't know that you were into this type of play]
Godiva said with her gentle and playful voice.
Joseph ignored her remarks and put his hands around the neck of the other zombie as he did that the male zombie started feeling uneasy and immediately tried to fight back but Joseph was stronger and bigger than him Joseph tightened his grip as hard as he could till he finally managed to snap the neck of the other zombie.
[Congrats yaaay you killed your second lesser zombie pls pick the crystal and move on]
Joseph picked up the Crystal as soon as he opened the door the female zombie immediately attacked him with no prior warning managing to scratch joseph

Joseph didn't care much about 1 damage he was way bigger and stronger than her Joseph punched the zombie in the head as hard as he could with his awkward and sluggish movement it didn't do much damage to the zombie but just slightly pushed her back seeing that he couldn't kill her by punching he did the same thing he did to the other one and moved towards the zombie grabbing her by her neck he tightened his grip once again and killed the zombie by snapping her neck.
[wow I didn't expect her to still have such a strong feeling of love for her lover make sure to pick up the crystal~]
