Chapter 028- Madara joins Konoha?

"Hashirama said you have managed to find a passageway to another world that has totally different power system than ours. Is that true?" With Hashirama's persuasion Madara somehow managed to come back to his former self.

"Yes, it is true. I have been there for a year and managed to learn a lot of thing from that world. They have some amazing techniques there. I even managed to get enough strength to rival you just by some of the techniques available in that world. The astonishing thing about that is a kind of fruit named devil fruit. You will be able to get amazing and unique power once you eat it. Though there are some side effects, it is negligible compared to the power you gain." Sarutobi replied.

"Ho...Then this world seems really interesting. I am looking forward to it. I hope I will be able to find some opponents there to challenge. By they way, I want to ask you something, Sarutobi. Do you believe that permanent peace can be achieved?" Madara asked.

Sarutobi slightly shook his head and said, "Only temporary peace is achievable. Humans by nature are competitive. They will always try to outperform others. Even though this kind of competition leads to the advancement of the human as a civilization but it also comes with a price of war."

"Every people on this planet compete with each others for something. Woman, Wealth, Status and fame are one of the main reasons for their competition. So, unless you can somehow take the human emotions away, this kind of competition will always remain and so will the war."

"The most we can do is to confine that competition in a small place and do not let that escalate to a big war that will even make the children participate in it." Sarutobi replied.

Madara looked thoughtful for a second after hearing Sarutobi's words as he looked at Sarutobi and asked with curiosity, "What do you think would be the best way if we want to do what you just said right now?"

Sarutobi replied, "I also had that question in my mind for several years and I have already managed to come to a conclusion in my mind."

"I plan to unify the world. As long as we can keep the whole world unified for more than three generations, I think most of the people would slowly start to forget their past hatreds. As for the new hatreds that will be created in the future, we can simply create some rules to extinguish that hatred in the least harmful manner possible."

"Even though I have yet to work out all the rules that I will be implementing in this unified world, I have already created a framework for my future plan."

Madara got intrigued at Sarutobi's words. After getting betrayed by Black Zetsu, he has already came to term with the fact that his plan to create a permanent peaceful world was totally wrong. Although Madara has yet to let go of the idea of creating a ideal world, he has changed his mind to make this world peaceful for as long as possible and leave the rest for the next generation.

Now that he heard from Sarutobi of the plan to unify the ninja world, he was reminded of his own idea when he and Hashirama just created the Konoha and he asked Hashirama to conquer the other ninja villages as well to permanently stop the conflict between ninjas. But sadly, Hashirama denied at that time stating how much causalities it would cause.

So even though, there are many flaws in Sarutobi's plan and there is no guarantee that wars will surely stop after unifying the world, he decided to go with this anyway.

'Since my plan of the Infinite Tsukuyomi failed, let's try and see what happens with this plan of unifying the world.' Madara thought.

"Sarutobi, I will help you in your quest to unify the ninja world. As long as it is for the peace of the world, you can ask me for anything, I will try my best to accommodate you." Madara said as Sarutobi became quite shocked at Madara's willingness to follow his words which should be totally out of his character normally.

'It's seems that the damage Black Zetsu caused to Madara with his betrayal is much more severe than I initially imagined. Though it is kina of good for me because he seems a lot less arrogant right now.' Sarutobi thought in his heart.

On the side, Hashirama was listening to the conversation. When he heard about Sarutobi's plan to unify the world, he was about to refute him but forcefully stopped himself from doing that.

He once tried the idea of mutual understanding to create a peaceful coexistent between the nations. Hashirama didn't even hesitate to bow down to the others leaders and give them the tailed beasts as a gift just so that they can let go of their hatred of the past.

But after he was reincarnated, he knew his idea was wrong. Human can never understand each other unless they were brainwashed to do so from their childhood. The moment Hashirama died, they didn't even hesitate for a second to tear up the treaty of peace which he signed with them and attacked Konoha, the village that he built with painstaking efforts and didn't even hesitate from killing his own best friend to protect it.

The most saddest think is that even his brother Tobirama had to die because of his naivety of trusting other village and hoping that everyone will be able to understand each other and let go of their hatreds.

'Even though it will kill many people on the road of unifying the world, at least the next generation will be able to live a more stable and peaceful life after the world is unified. Since my idea of mutual understanding didn't work, what right do I have to stop Sarutobi and Madara from creating a more peaceful world using their own idea!' Thinking of this, Hashirama decided on his mind to help Sarutobi on his quest and make sure at least the amount of people that will be sacrificed during the conquering of the world remains as minimum as possible.

"Madara senpai, Hashirama senpai, I have some important thing to do in the uzushiogakure. Do you two want to come with me or return to Konoha?" Sarutobi asked after finishing his conversation with Madara.

"Ooo, are you going to Mito's village? I haven't been there for a while. Since you are going there, let's go together. By the way, what is the reason for your visit there?" Hashirama asked.

"My reason for visit there is to discuss some political matter with Uzukage. Aside from that, I am also supposed to meet my fiancée who should become my second wife if nothing goes wrong." Sarutobi replied with a straight face.

"Huh, you are going to marry a second wife! You know if I even dare to mention something like this in front Mito, she will literally kill me!" Hashirama said with some jealousy in his voice.

On the other hand, Madara just snorted and said, "Hmph! What's the point of marriage? Women will only make you weak. If you truly want to become strong, you should stay single."

"But Madara, you are still weaker than me and I am married." Hashirama joked.
