53 【Create Golem】 (1)
Hey, Shun here!
I'm really torn between planning to create a city in order to passively gain DP and just going with creating a boni fide dungeon.
I could also create an explorer guild that could make me gain DP from buying off treasures from adventurers but that's not gonna fly since there seems to be an Adventurer's Guild already.
I'm willing to bet my money on the fact that a Dungeon Core made the Adventurer's Guild.
So, the only option I have is…

"Hey, Shun. What are we gonna do with this many rooms?"
"Hmm? Well, I don't actually have a concrete plan as of yet as to what we're gonna do. However, I do have some plans regarding how we're gonna strengthen our dungeon…"
"Oooh! What is it?"
"Well, you do know about the monsters in the 'create' and 'summon' category of magic, right?"
Rokuko nodded her head with a thoughtful look.
"Yeah, I know them. However, Shun, you won't be able to buy them because we don't have enough DP, you know?"
"Ah, don't worry about that. I've got that covered."
To think that these batteries that I bought on a whim would be useful. It's a good thing I brought twelve of them with me. Through simple math, it's easy to calculate that our DP count will skyrocket to the quintuple digits once I sell these.
To be exact, our DP will become 25,120.
Anyway, the skill I'm most curious of right now is the skill that involves Golems. Why? Because in fantasies, they are mostly depicted as constructs that have many uses, could be modified, and obey commands like a robot.
I don't know if it is the case for this magic: [Create Golem], but I have a pretty good feeling that it would be of good use to me. Now, let's not waste any time and just buy it.
"I'm gonna buy the magic scroll of [Create Golem] from the DP Catalog, Rokuko. I want to see how we can make use of it."
"Sure, go ahead, Shun. However, you have to leave DP for us to use okay?"
"Of course."
"I didn't expect that those little things inside your bag could be sold for double the amount of a gold coin. Really amazing!"
"Haha, that was just a coincidence."
As I was talking to Rokuko, I searched through the DP Catalog and eventually found the magic scroll I've been looking for.
According to Rokuko, these scrolls can allow a person to learn magic or skill in an instant. The one above them are skill orbs but Rokuko said that they're just a waste of DP.
Looks like the these orbs are priced a hundred times higher than a scroll that contains the same skill or magic as them. So, really, they're clearly just a waste of DP.
"So? How do I use this scroll Rokuko?"
"Fufun! It's good that you asked! Well, the way to use it is to first open the scroll and pour mana to the magic circle on it!" Rokuko explained as she puffed her chest up with pride.
She's in her loli form, though, that's why there isn't much in terms of destructive power. It's cute either way so… I digress.
"Just pour mana, right?"
"Uh-huh, just pour mana into it."
"Alright. Let's see what this does…"
Shun followed Rokuko's advice and tried pouring his mana into the magic circle. It felt a lot like he's using the Survival Magic spell [Purification], somehow.
All he had to do was put his hand on the magic circle and clench it into a fist before he started feeling mana flowing out of his body. Although Shun felt the drain in his mana, it wasn't nearly enough to make him feel tired.
His mana flowed into the magic circle and started running along its lines. His mana flowed progressively faster into the magic circle.
Once it reached its limit or something, the magic circle suddenly stopped resisting the flow of his mana, causing it all to burst and rain back onto him. It's most likely being ingrained within him.
Once it finished, he could tell that some knowledge he knew he didn't have up until earlier was now present inside his mind. Yes, it's the knowledge on how to use[Create Golem], including its chant.
The language being used on the chant seems to be called Ancient Magic Language. It's one of the languages he learned from that generous God.
As for the scroll… The magic circle on it was scorched black, and after all my mana left it, the whole scroll caught fire and turned to ash.
Rokuko, who was watching on the side, addressed me once she saw that the process is already over.
"So? Did you learn it?"
"Hmm? Yeah, I did. You haven't used a scroll before, Rokuko?"
"Well, I never had the chance to try it. Should I buy one and try it out?"
"Let's do that later. We need our DP to expand our dungeon first, after all."
"Un! I totally get you! Then, be sure to buy me a scroll later, okay?"
"That's a given. However, for now, we need to find a way to attract the attention of adventurers."
"Um!"
"But first, we need to take a rest. I'm feeling kinda tired from all the things that happened today so, after I'm done with putting those bandits inside a room that will be our temporary prison, let's go to sleep."
"I don't need to sleep though, Shun."
"It's fine. Sleeping feels really refreshing, trust me."
"Hmm. Okay, I'll trust you, Shun."

The next morning, I woke up with Tsuka cuddling inside my embrace. It looks like she ran away from Rokuko who snatched her away from me last night and made her a hugging pillow.
As an aside, we are currently sleeping in futons that costs 50 DP. Since we bought two of them, for me and for Rokuko, we spent 100 DP in total.
"Nngh… It's morning huh. Wait, let's see what I can buy in the catalog for breakfast."
During my investigation last night, I found some useful information about food ingredients and some things I could use for cooking them.
First, I bought an Iron Can(2 DP), Knife(3 DP), a sack of Wood Scraps(2 DP), Wooden Tube(1 DP), and an Iron Construction Rod(5 DP). These would be enough for a DIY cooking stove.
Then, I bought a kilo of Ground Meat(5 DP), a pack of Bacon(3 DP), a bag of Lettuce(2 DP), a pack of ready made Buns(3 DP), and a bag of Seasonings(2 DP). All of them were so cheap that I began to praise the usefulness of DP inwardly.
Like, seriously, the goods from my world is so cheap that I'm beginning to doubt it myself. I don't really need this many seasonings so I guess I should bring them to the large town nearby and sell them there.
I bet this will net me some good income.
Ah, I got sidetracked again. Anyway, regarding the DIY stove, it's quite easy to make, really.
I made a square-ish cut at the bottom part of the can using the knife, before opening it up. Ah, you also have to make sure that dry wood could go through it.
The next process was easy as pie. Bend the iron rod to make a U shape, put the wooden tube or whatever tube that has a diameter equal to the length of your thumb in the middle of the can, pour some wood scraps — make sure that they are fine wood scraps — and make sure that its squeezed together by pushing it with your hand, remove the tube carefully, put some dry wood at the bottom, then light it up.
It's real easy to make and could help you save firewood.
"*gulp*… This is really delicious Shun! Did you say that it's called 'hamburger'?"
"Yep. It is. I wanted to make something lighter for breakfast but I thought I really needed some protein so…"
"What's a 'protein'?"
"It's a nutritious thing that's inside a meat."
"Hmm? Really? Is that something that you learned from your world, Shun?"
"Well, I think it's common sense in our world?"
"Really? Ah! Come here, Tsuka-chan. Here, eat some of my hamburger!"
"Squeak! No!"
"Ah, looks like she hates me now—! No! I can't give up! Come here, Tsuka-chan!"
"Squeak! Get, away!"
As I watched the bunny and the loli play a game of tag inside the Master Room, I began to think of what I should do today.
Learn about [Create Golem] more and its uses, create traps, and learn more about the surroundings.
