Tournament Preparations

Before heading to Lump, Lui had to finish setting up all the necessary production in Frontera. He appointed Kuro and his brother Uro as the head of production in bricks, cement and salt. It would be their task to also deliver the products to any clients. But first, the bricks and cement would be taken to Lump to build a large storage building for storing bricks and cement. The salt was low in production quantity so it would be mostly localised in the Frontera Barony itself.

Lui would come to the Barony from time to time to see the progress in coal mines and finish all the paperwork.

But Lui didn't stop there, he saw the fish being eaten just after being boiled which was kind of boring. So he wanted to make a new dish out of fish. And maybe he could advertise it in tournament of Lump. Maybe he could get some ideas from Bill.

"Wow. You really outdid yourself Bheem." Lui complimented Bheem as he looked at the finished stadium. The stadium was painted with dyes made from flowers. It was painted white and red with the seating area being red and the pillars were white. The exterior walls were painted green with a football drawn.

"It was all your design sir. " Bheem blushed. This project was difficult to complete. But Bheem had done it. "When is the official tournament starting? " Bheem asked.

"According to Bill, about 10 teams have registered from over three territories. We will have to make arrangements for them to stay here until the tournament starts. I believe you have started the work on building training grounds for the teams? " Lui asked. Bheem nodded.

Bill had given Bheem the task to build training futball grounds for the teams. The grounds had poles, with barriers in between. It was made with the mind that many teams could practice at once. There were seats built near the ground for people to watch.

"It is finished. But what about accommodation? " Bheem asked. "They will currently stay in the Baron's guesthouses and inns. If this tournament is successful, we will build special inns just for these tournaments. " Lui explained. "But that's a big if."

There were two teams from the Frontera Barony, four from Lump and its surrounding villages and four from Lacona County. The teams were slowly starting to arrive in Lump and were made to live in various inns. Lui set up a temporary office which would see those futball tournaments. Bill was made the temporary head of the newly established MIFA or Maguire Industries Football Association. Lui would look for a suitable person for the president's role.

The tournament would officially start after two weeks. But people from all around the kingdom were beginning to arrive now. They had apparently heard about the tournament and wanted to see for themselves. By the looks of it, Lui would have to extend the stadium as 1500 capacity was not enough. They needed at least 2000.

"Bheem, we have a two week deadline. We need to extend the stadium. I have placed orders for wood and stone and also paid them handsomely for delivering all of it in 2 days. Hire more workers but I want everything finished by at least 3 days before the tournament starts. Do you understand? " Lui asked Bheem who looked skeptical first but accepted nonetheless.
