Salt And New Shop

The deadline was coming near. He had about 10 days left. He had made only 2000G by now. And that included the vegetable sales, and the pot sales. But their shop was very small to sell all those items together. So he had to rely on advance orders for pots rather than selling it alongside food.

But the remodeling of the shop has been done. For the reader's understanding, let's divide the shop into 3 parts- A, B, C. Lui's original shop was B. He bought A and C. Now A, B and C were remodelled to be together. The first floor of B would act as house for Isabella and Harry. The first floor of C would be Lui's house and first floor of A would be his new lab where he would research things in his spare time. Now the ground floor has three parts, C is where the vegetables and fruits would be. B is where pots and the newly made salt would be kept. A is for fish and meat which will be later stored in ice containers.

For the ice, Lui made a way to make ice, but it was long, very long. Create a vacuum in a bag, put some water in it, and keep it in shade for one day. Next day, you get ice. Lui asked the blacksmiths to make hollow steel containers where ice would be kept between two layers. The whole thing would be covered by a metal lid so that air doesn't go out much. Furthermore, salt was sprinkled on the fish and meat for further preservation. The only downside was that the metal cost a lot of money and the ice had to be replaced every few hours.

When Lui advertised about the salt to others, many wanted to try it out and then after a taste test, they started to make profits day by day. The pots, the salt and the food, it was going good.

By the end of the week, 7000G of the initial 10000 had been recovered. But making 10000 more in three days seemed like a dream. So Lui made another plan from the knowledge he had gained from the System.

A thing called paper.
