Pots-2(Rewritten)

It took about 2 hours to make the makeshift kiln. It was about 6 feet tall, with a hole at the top and then more smaller holes at the bottom.

Bill was collecting clay while Luis was making a wheel. When Bill dropped all the clay he had collected in front of Luis, the two got to the actual work. First comes spinning the wheel, thankfully which Bill did.

Next was designing the shape. Luis had thought about it earlier and was ready to execute his plan. He had to make two pots, one larger than the other. It took a lot of clay and time to make the perfect shape, but Lui did it.

While Bill and Tom were getting the kiln burning, Lui was placing the pots in it. He almost fell in the kiln but Bill was there to save him.

"Ok so we placed the pots in the so called kiln. Now what? " Bill asked exhausted. "We need more heat. " Lui said. Bill's eyes widened. From where will they get more heat? "Make a hollow pipe. We will blow air to make it burn faster."

__

"My.... Eyes..... Are.... Burning!" Bill shouted as Bill, Tom and his friends blew air into the kiln with hollow sticks.

Originally, it was just Tom but then, they required more people and Bill helped them.

"Carry on! You can do it.... I think." Luis cheered. He was writing all the steps on a parchment as the one the System gave him was way too complex.

ONE HOUR LATER

"Blow! Blow! Keep blowing! Daddy!"

TWO HOURS LATER

"Ok! That's enough. You can stop now." Luis said as everyone stopped blowing. Bill was clutching his jaw. "I don't want to blow anything now. It's enough for a life time." He complained.

When the kiln cooled down a little, Luis carefully took out the pots. It was still hot but now harder. Luis placed them under the sun.

"It needs to cool off a bit." He informed the others.

"Cooling under the sun." Bill deadpanned.

"It's written in the parchment. Anyway we will carry out the process again! Clear the kiln! Gather the clay! Ready your mouths!"

He could hear groans from the Dalits and Bill but he didn't care. He needed more than one pot.

__

The next day, when Bill, Luis and Tom entered the clearing again, they found that the pots had cooled off. Luis carefully picked one up. He tapped it for sometime to check it's hardness.

When he found that the pot was hard enough, Luis told Bill and Tom to carry the pots to the nearest source of water, which was Angles Sea to wash the pots.

After washing the pots, Luis had Bill carry them to his house after paying Tom his labour fee.

When Isabella saw Bill and Luis carrying weird clay items in their hands, she was confused. Was this what Luis was working on?

"This... Is a pot. You can use it to store food and water and other things." Luis explained to her. They were currently on the road outside Luis's house and there were a lot of people.

So while Luis was explaining about pots to everyone, there was a crowd formed by the end of the explanation.

"Can it really store whatever you said for weeks?" Isabella asked. "We can try it out. Give me some water and a few vegetables." Luis said. He needed to create a positive image of pots in everyone's mind.

A person from the crowd shouted "Maybe it's a scam! Or witchcraft!" Some people agreed with the person and began to whisper.

"It's just human genius. You can see it at the end of the week." Luis shouted back.
